A Good Day is one that starts with Ms. Hannah, talking about a new Brompton, and looking rather fetching in a knit dress... applied with a new Micro Fusion Process!
It’s a beautiful bike in real life. I had my reservations but after seeing it in real life and touching it i got one 🤣 am a sucker for the limited edition
Hi Hannah, I was visiting London last week, so I popped into Brompton Junction to have a browse. It seemed rude not to while I was passing, and I saw the new GB option. It does look rather stunning in the flesh and perhaps doesn't come across quite the same in video.
Unbaxing, I mean unboxing, insert blooper reel please Hannah 😂 If they’re going into the hire fleet, Sod’s Law, someone will nick one and pop it onto eBay at an inflated price…
Wow, it’s a stunner, saw it in the flesh on Saturday at the Brompton Junction in Covent Garden…was very tempted. How much better does the P line ride over the C line? See you on Friday for the upgrades to my C line.
I think it looks really cool and being a 12 speed P Line, it should be a pleasure to ride (I’ve not ridden one, having an S6L myself). However, as others have said, I don’t understand the association of pink with Team GB.
That sure is a beautiful bike Hannah…are they going back to Brompton to sell on via their website, i thought i read that somewhere ? Great video again ❤
dear sir i just found out that some red brick powder is stick to magnet but i dont know what kind of metal that powder is made of is it an iron or other material please let me know if you know about it ????
When I bought my Flame Painted, SuperlightM6LXBrompton in 2019, in Copenhagen, I as a near first found out that I - needed to order a mostly full set of "Frame Protection Plates" to avoid scratches during folds and handling, and now Brompton has - Finally, after that many years of Production, started to add some of the Protection Plates, it seems? I have also some below the frame and protected from The Hook holding it folded! As a new lightweight Hook with a hole for my mudguard to be kept fixed in front! All my early added plates has kept it looking like a new bike, also as I have leather sown on my frame and up my stem post, for protection against handling and feet/shoes. Mine is mostly for recreational rides and - some necessary transport, as a Pensioner of now 76! I suppose a loose and more standard type pedal is less expensive than the special Brompton folding one, but I honestly don't like to be able to loose a pedal during transport, so I have kept my folding one on my now, modified to well below 9 kilo bike (what is actually left from the original version)! Even the brackets holding the titanium stays on my mudguards (as a Rainy Dane!) are now from carbon + bolts, as well as near all bolts, nuts and discs/plates are from titanium! Also my axle in front, as much of my - still original looking brakes! I have a slightly padded, Selle carbon saddle, also for weight reasons! But it still looks - mostly as Standard and like an original "Black Version" and hardly anything gives away that it is - much ligther than originally made, also from the nice black paint! A carbon M handlebar also helps, weighing less than the original, or a titanium version. But I have a set of leather, secured in both ends, grips, with a Brompton print on them! It is a Brompton! 😁 Finn. Denmark
@@brilliantbikes I don't need the titanium version, but it does have some nice features. Tempted to replace my upgraded H6L. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the 12 speed Vs the 8 speed Alfine on the G line
I get Brompton making a Tesm GB bike for Britain being made in England but is there a team associtaion driving this? And why the pink? Especially pink on red. 😮😮 imho. Please tell me there is a story for that
Nice color EXCEPT for the ugly pink stem. Nice that it is 12 speed. Personally, still trying to decide between 12 speed electric C vs P line WITH roller rack; not sure if 1kg is worth the price difference... but not yet available on this side of the pond anyway (seems Brompton are focusing on color-of-the-month). Looking forward to the full 12 speed electric P vs C comparisson. 😁
It really looks like what an olympic edition should look like... More so than the Tokyo one! For me, unfortunately too much patterns and some of the colors too bright for the taste! They will probably become collectibles if used by Paris olympic winners!
Please tell Brompton to stop those Olympic acrobatic Brompton ads. Otherwise somebody who tries to repeat that is, best case, going to end up ruining their Brompton.
Thanks for watching! I do hope that most people have the sense not to try something unless they are already able to do the tricks, like Kieran Reilly w hi I got a silver medal at BMX freestyle. I guess he showed us how strong the bikes are
@@brilliantbikes it’s always different when you see it in real life. i can imagine it is quite beautiful, just doesn’t go well with my personality haha 😅
Great they got a belt drive Brompton = the future has arrived, sorry I was dreaming, in reality it’s still the nightmare of the chain drives, just another colour version then , thanks for the video and thank me for watching.
@@brilliantbikes always a pleasure never a chore, looked at the Vello titanium bike with the Rolloff 14 gears belt drive folding = wow , may not have as good at folding as Brompton but the belt drive is years ahead of Brompton, if only they put 10 % into future thinking rather than 90 % on yet another colour scheme = oh well such is life , take care you = me.
@@KavanOBrien Belt drive has its own pain in the arse issues. Great for mid-drive ebikes, but totally unnecessary on a Brompton - it would be tech for the sake of tech, not actually improving anything.
@@james-p that is so wrong to say what you have said , of course I might be wrong , it’s not tech , it’s better , if you haven’t tried it then what you are saying is just a theory of what you had heard somewhere or read somewhere, the belt drive system is obviously the future with all manufacturers which has seen figures year on year of 30% increase, the bike industry thinks it will only be a couple of year’s until the belt drive will overtake chain systems, everyone I talk with around the world with my Brompton friends everyone have asked why is Brompton not looking at the future when everyone else has .
@@KavanOBrien As a matter of fact, one of my bikes does have a belt drive! It's great for my mid-motor e-bike with a Rohloff hub. I love it - on that bike. There are some downsides though. First, the frame has to have a break in it to get the belt on there, which isn't easy to do well. And it's more expensive. Second, a belt can't be used with a derailleur. It must be a hub shifter. I do like a good hub shifter, but one with enough gears to make up for the lack of a derailleur is heavy, and the best one (Rohloff) is very expensive - about US $1,500.00. (it hurt to pay for that option on my ebike, but I'm glad I did). Third, if the low-to-high gearing range that the bike comes with isn't to my liking, changing the crank size or sprocket size is a _royal_ pain with belt drive, and in some cases it is simply not possible. I wanted a lower 1st gear on my Brompton, so I just swapped the crank and removed a few links. That is not possible with a belt. Belt drive is great for certain applications, but in my opinion it's unnecessary and in some ways definitely worse than a chain for a Brompton.
What a pleasure it is to be greeted by such a beautiful video so early in the morning. Absolutely stunning.
That bike is kind of nice too.
😀, thanks for making me smile and for watching!
I'm in Korea and loved your review as always. Love it ❤
Thank you so much! And thank you for watching!
I’m always watching the video til the end and waiting for the after credits scenes 😂 It’s Brilliant 😊
Thank you! And thanks you for watching!
The designer had so much fun on this one!
They really did! It’s cool!

Those colors are reminiscent of the Britten motorcycle. Look it up. He was an amazing person.
Thanks for the recommendation, yes very interesting! Thanks for watching!

Actually having watched the Olympics, we don’t understand the colours at all!
Great to hear a bit of coughing before mentioning convid. We now know what's been going on.
p-line would be an unfortunate name but lucky we no longer have snow in winter
