I feel very different, i dont like my parents(im adopted)this video kinda offends me because my parents abandoned me when i was 4 and this video doesnt have something that tells you "hey your independent and you can work by yourself without any help" but of course most of the people here will disagree with me and say something like "your parents probably did it cus they didn't have enough money to take care of you" but im very sure they did because when my amazing foster parents found me they said that they found me with a full baby station so i feel the need to say not all parents are good and you can work probably not as good with your parents around but youll at least get some where in life

Until anyone who is a parent themselves to truly understand what it is to be a parent.
I'm a divorced mother of two teenagers that I've sacrificed alot of things that I wanted for myself but also, fought with every ounce of my entire being to remain on this earthly plane for my kids as I battled thyroid cancer in 2014. And battled a very bitter divorce and custody while battling cancer.
I even been studying from special needs behaviour, nutrition to fitness trainer personal training, MMA training and massage therapy as I've chosen to give all I can to my kids. And what I'm thankful my kids have learned from me is the choices they wish to create thier roadmaps for themselves. Both my kids have decided to continue thier education to become veterinarian and architect.
While my ex husband only chose to have my kids married off in to a dowries. Not encourage them to create careers for themselves.
Two very different roadmaps of expectations of dreams and hopes that I want for them.
So much I've been through to give the best I can to my kids so they'll be happy adults.
This broke my heart. I'm an adult child who recently buried my dad after taking care of him for 13 years. I'm still caring for my mom.

Stay strong. I cared for my dad for many years too. He passed away in 2018. My mom just turned 93. Even though she's quite independent I check in on her daily, take care of her meals and groceries. Dr appointments and medications. Wouldn't have it any other way. You're a good kind soul for what you're doing. Blessings to you and your mom.

My mom was the only one I had cus growing up in a abusive beginning Vietnam vet for a father... Families are getting destroyed cus of alcohol, drugs and just plain society mindset. I'm glad your in your children's life I wish you the best and hope God is in you and your families heart's ✝️🙏

Sacrifice? It’s my honor,privilege and duty to to teach and give to my children! It’s my purpose in life to give them everything they need to grow to be good people. There is a limit when it starts to become unappreciated and they start to become spoiled that’s when the teaching takes over and the giving stops.
It is even more sad when parents abuse their children wont provide a safe loving home.
Sadly it's more common then you'd think, but most parents are loving and do whatever they can to give you good chances in life, it is heartbreaking to know that some children look up to cruel parents, who abuse the children, selling them or worse.....
