Great video, as usual, packed with lots of interesting history😀. It must be very time consuming to do all the research on the various histories! My new home is in Co Down! The village of Annalong.

Thank you, yes it does take a bit of time collecting the historical stories, sometimes you have to dig deep to find them, hence with that and life commitments can only manage to post every two weeks on average. Annalong, fantastic place, a Viking settlement and on the to do list for a future video. A friends parent had a cottage there, rented it for £1 per year as they where friends with the local farmer. Had many teenage drunken stay overs there sitting at an open peat fire, on a rocking chair lol. Wishing you all the best with your new home.

@@nornirishrover I've been doing some research on the area. The vikings are of particular interest to me. Pleased the area is touristy as will be starting an air bandb. Hoping to find outlets for my art, too. It sells well on Anglesey and will likely appeal in in NI, too ( fingers crossed ). I'm not picturing you as a drunken teenager 🤣🤣🤣, but that's a funny story .

Oh good for you, best of luck 🍀. The Mourne mountains are fairly close to you, so that will be good for tourist business. Looking forward to the video on Annalong, hope he lingers the camera on your B&B 😊👍

I love Greyabbey, but the road to it from Newtownards is treacherous and i detest having to drive along it.

Indeed it can be quite the challenge especially in autumn and winter. Thanks for watching

@VioletR3062 Thank you 😊. We drove down to Annalong from Ardglass after another house viewing. Gorgeous weather and was felt quite overwhelmed at how beautiful this part of NI is. The air bandb will be from my house - I might end ip sleeping in the garden shed with my bunnies if I have quests staying 😅😅. You are welcome to pop in for a panad - welsh for tea/ coffee break if you're in the area . Irish Rover too if you need a break from filming. Cake is optional 😁😁.
