- Bradford on Avon is right on the edge of the Cotswolds England. It is a beautiful English town just 20 minutes from Bath. Bradford on Avon has a fantastic history and is also a beautiful place to walk along the river or towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal. The Cotswolds are a stunning part of England, and Bradford on Avon does not disappoint in its beautiful location.
We will take you on a tour of this English town and show you all the things you should see and do whilst visiting. We will also tell you about some of the history associated with Bradford on Avon which is considerable! Most notably Stephen Moulton helped produce vulcanised rubber and then his great-grandson Alex Moulton invented the rubber suspension system for the iconic BMC Mini and the Moulton bicycle.

How Britain maintains old english buildings intact,these are the places I cherish to visit
I grew up in Wiltshire and, like many places in Britain, historical towns have been well looked after for centuries. The general rule is that you try not to replace things but add to them in a manner that maintains the past.

It is sometimes said that you need Planning Permission from the local authority just to change a light bulb in some of these places.
Only half in jest!
Beyond the urban centers of the big cities and their cloned fast food and clothing franchises, it's great that places like this still endure with their "soul" intact. Thanks for showing us!

English countryside paradise! Oh yes absolutely yes! Anyday please! Loved the walks, and the dogs on the canal boats, the trees and the grass is so green and lush, I'd move there if I could! Well done indeed again!

I would love to try out a narrowboat one day, (Will is not keen) yes it good to escape the big cities and see more of nature. We were just in the Peak District this last weekend and what an escape for home! Loved it.

I live here and have done all my life. My godfather (R.I.P) knew evreything about this town and also was a archaeologists and found alot that is now in Bradford on avon museum, he written a book about bradford and his family (my cousins) has alot at thier home he discovered, a true legend from a beautiful small historic town.

You envoked a lot of childhood visits to my Gran who lived on muirhull, Limpley Stoke and lots of walks to the aqueducts with the dog. Incidently my mum brought a Welsh dresser from the antique shop now a tearoom in Bradford on Avon in 1986. Thank you so much for the tour ❤

I visited maybe 10 years ago …lovely peaceful picturesque town…the tithebarn was open for us that day…amazing place..beautiful canal… I’d love to go back.
