- This week, I visit Greyabbey, a long abandoned Cistercian Monastery steeped in almost a millennia of history and shrouded in local folklore. I was lucky enough to have the knowledge of local historian Ray Murray, who took me on a guided tour of the ruins. I hope you enjoy the video. Excellent. A place of atmosphere which you captured. The narrative at the end could be shorter but great storytelling.
Excellent video, Edward! That place clearly has some fascinating history. Thanks for sharing the tour and your thoughts at the end. 🙂
You're welcome! Thanks for your continued support! I'm glad you found it as interesting as I did
Great video. Very interesting. Keep up the great work. 😊
Thank you so much. I'm off to film the next episode tonight about an old bridge haunted by a hanged Highwayman! Stay tuned 😉
Sounds awesome! Be safe 😊
You've done a fair bit of homework Edward! I have videoed here a bit but I didn't know a lot of the stuff you were presenting! Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
I had lots of help from the guide Ray Murray you see in the video. He has extensive knowledge of the site and is full of anecdotes about the various events that took place there over the years! Thanks for watching!
I learnt a lot Edward.
Half the battle is coming across a knowledgeable guy like Ray!
