    The topic was on "How to calculate Dead Load, Live Load and Earthquake Load" but you discussed only on "How to calculate the Dead Load"

      RLL is the only Load in the roof... Even if it is roofdeck or truss...
      RLL means Roof live load... There is no LIVELOAD in roof.... And EarthQuake load is not applicanle to Slab or Truss.. Its only for beam and column

    What do you call the name of Roof Design which is rectangular and sloped to the other end.
    Eg: I have a plot of 16x40 ft. 16-width and 40 length. I am planning to have the house facing on the 16 ft wide side as for on both the sides there are two houses.
    Therefore I have to build a rectangular house with high elevation in the front face (for loft bedroom) and normal height at the back end. I would like to know what would you call this type of roof design. It will be made of Steel Sheets/ Galvanized Steel Sheets.

    good roof sheets , purlings & truss dead load & wind load calculations but purling weight should not be multiplied by plan area since purling have spacing & do not completely cover the plan area # space area between purling should be excluded # 🇵🇰

    spacing of truss shouldn't be 3.5 if the numbers of trusses in your figure as shown in 4 so total 3 spacing will make the c/c distance between the trusses as 10 mtr, not 3.5 mtr
