- if you're looking at getting into ffxiv raiding i hope this gives a clearer picture on what to expect near the highest tier of content. in our group 6 had never finished an ultimate before, other 2 got their first clear less than two weeks before we started progging. really happy with how the group did and can't wait to do more ultimates later down the line.

Oh I love this! Down to the editing, cheering at the clear, and collective cackling at every death. Good humor goes a long way in these things-- and honestly, the deaths you showed WERE hilarious.
As a quad legend, uwu is perfect to start, but has a problem of giving you too much confidence to where after 2500 pulls of dragonsong reprise ultimate and 7 months crushes it.
next ult were doing is tea. heard it was a good difficulty midpoint between uwu and dsr.
@@Scien in terms of difficulty, tea and ucob are similar. Tea has harder mechanics that are less forgiving, ucob is longer and more mechanics but can be cheesed to hell. The record for most deaths in that fight is over 100.
@@Scien quad legend here, Ucob and tea are simliar in terms of dificulty. the diferences is that ucob is forgiving when you have death (depending where you die and the dps chek is a joke) but tea wil punish you if 1 person dies or messed up. (again it depends where you die that you can be a quick recovery but it has to be specific)
I dont really see your point? Giving you too much confidence? Its a good ultimate to prog and clear i dont think it gives you unrealistic expectations. Dsr taking 7 months is kind of crazy but everyone does it at their own speed. Some people clear it in pf in 1-2 weeks.

This is so wildly entertaining and wonderfully edited the whole way through. And just looking at some of the shots and knowing how much time and effort would've gone into just a few seconds of footage for a nearly 20 minute video, massively increased the enjoyment factor for me, personally.

This video was super well made amazing editing congrats to you and your party on clearing an ultimate, as a solo player (for the most part) I’ve beaten both ucob and uwu on party finder heading into tea soon and beating an ultimate is one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced in a game, my advice would be always take it slow and keep in mind these fights will take some time to learn, keep calm during mechs and always watch a guide if you feel like you’re struggling(unless you want to go in blind)
With that being said good luck to all you future legends “LET THE REVELS BEGIN!”

Small nitpick, you don't have to kill the nails in Z Order to awaken them, that just determines how the dashes start.
The thing that awakens then is killing them awhile enlarged, but I'd you can skip dashes the order doesn't matter

Hey Scien, this video's kinda inspired me to try and beat uwu myself, but at the same time I'm insanely nervous, if you have any tips for me that could help ease me into it, what would you suggest I do?
-experience savage content if you havent already. this tier and uwu are pretty on par with each other for difficulty.
-get familiar with the fight via guides. tessan twintails has a very good one.
-die a lot. just get comfortable with messing up while progging and learning from mistakes. it happens.

Woah.. Random Legendary Ultimate Guide. ✨️ Very unexpected but poggers; I'm getting educated on UWU mechanics I would otherwise never bother looking up. My biggest takeaway is the death, taxes and Titan ass mech.

If you die at any point do restart at phase 1 or are there „checkpoints“ at each phase?
You restart
later on if you go for more uwu kills, the order of the nails dont really matter anymore as you would use a pot anyways there to skip the dashes entirely, giving you a 40 seconds faster kill than playing the dashes and aftermath close to the enrage. as of the stat smash in endwalker, the dps checks are very low on uwu after you did it 2-3 times. but still good to know how to play the dashes as most of the pf just does "follow the leader" into the safespots :D

Great video! UWU is definitely the easiest of the ultimates, but it's a great entry point because of it. Regardless of being the easiest of ultimates it's still an ultimate which tends to take a lot of work and prog to clear. My own static went from like, half new to raiding at all to an UWU clear this expac, it was quite a fun experience. It's mostly mechanic execution above all else with a fairly forgiving DPS check. I highly recommend it to anyone who's done a bit of Savage raiding, it can even be a good place to learn a new role!

Are you a red mage? I just started playing, and i want to do big damage. which one should i choose? Red mage or Black mage?
Black mage does the most damage but is harder to play optimally
i am playing as a red mage. red mage is a simpler class with more utility while black mage is generally harder to pilot but does more damage. my class guide could probably help your question as well (shameless plug).
Amaxingly edited and produced video but damn, just 32 hours of prog to beat UwU... Your group must be some god gamers and did some seirious homework in order to pull that off (that, or most of the group already had expeirnece/cleared). I'm only a wea double legend at this point (UwU and TEA) but had 2 UwU statics and 1 TEA static in all 3 of these groups there was always 1-3 people in the static that massivly hold back the rest of the party when eveyrone is new to the fight dragging it on much longer than it should. I have heard many others say the same. 6 hours a week for 3 months for UwU is much more realistic for a party (72 hours of prog) IMO.

Imagine being an original boss for XIV. Having a Normal, Extreme, Savage n Ultimate difficulty + enrage. Fast aoe charges (10 secs for Normal & Extreme - 5 for Savage)
