Re. the sponginess of the hammer, although the tolerances between the hammer pin & the hammer do play a part, a big contributor is how weak the spring is when it's PLA. You can fix it with a rubber band, or printing with a stiffer material. In future designs I'm just planning to make things chunkier.

How did you come up with the channel name and emblem?
I wonder if at some point, you’d build a full on flintlock musket, as that was released recently, and designed by the same guy.
I'm waiting for his new design to drop before I do that, but yest I plan to!
