luke will u review Dart zone MK4 and omnia pro? i waiting for u to review them :D
My biggest criticism with the Jupiter (as a proud owner of one) is that I couldn't reprint any of the parts in case of a failure, or just to swap colors, etc. This has addressed that, and I am insanely excited to get to build my own Juno!
"15 round mags are great for that extra bit of capacity"
and then all of it disspears in 3.9 frames anyways
I would love to see a drum rival mag made by OOD
There is a very rare 30 round drum.
Thought: For the Fury Hose provide an option for the loading door/gate to accept magazines. They could be used as speedloaders for the tube instead of as traditional magazines. Or maybe just use the paintball receptacle from the perses hopper and pull the tab on the mags by hand to dump the mag through the receptacle?
I like the speed loader idea! I'll add it to a list for Tarik and Luke to consider. - Perry
@@outofdarts what about a switch reverseing the current to the vaccum motor to have the vaccum suck balls in?
This is the best thing to happen to Non-competitive foam flinging. Jupiter was groundbreaking and this looks to be a worthy successor. Congratulations. As soon as the proton packs are back I’m ordering EVERYTHING you have for it!!!
Very well done on this design, and I commend you guys for going with open source!
Even though HIR blasters aren't my thing, really appreciate you guys starting to post files for modding and print replacement!
Lol, I do remember many years ago when you and I entered a contest for making a 3D-printed blaster.
I think it was a contest run on a facebook channel, but I am not sure about that. I do remember that only 3 of the contestants had a blaster ready when the deadline passed and we were thinking we were the winners, but then they shifted the deadline a month, so others could also join. If I remember correct, you got the first place in the contest, and I got third.
After that I never touched a blaster again while you made a career out of it. I am following your channel ever since.
Keep making them, and congratulations with your new blaster.
That smile on your face is priceless. The ironman colors makes me want to get 2 and mount them on my arm like gauntlets. With that new hose mag, it would even look cool as a functional LARP Addon
It always brings me joy whenever I see him smiling as he's firing a blaster; imagine how I felt when he test-fired the juno with the proton pack.
It was a pleasure getting an early look at the warehouse, still has that familiar Jupiter feel we all love!
I love love love that these files are available, so many possibilities for people to design around while still supporting OOD through part sales.
this looks absolutely fantastic! great to see the improvement of previous issues with the Jupiter, and its wide range of compatibility.
That’s so cool! I had no idea that was coming. Yeah, I struggled so much to go above 40 balls as the fan has to be more powerful to push the balls up against gravity.
Awesome! I enjoy printing and building my blasters just as much as firing them, so this makes me much more interested in the Juno!
This is what I thought I'd get to see when I first found your channel! So glad you're entering the open source world! Love it!
This is everything I've wanted out of the Jupiter platform since I first saw it. Way to go, y'all!!
I appreciate having the files available and hope to see it on future blasters( it would also be great if hardware kits/ files were made available for the Momentum.
This looks amazing! Thank you for offering this.
thank you so much for making it for download. i allways wanted to have a jupiter. and now i can make a juno. thank you Luke!
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since the Jupiter launched!
Beautiful blaster! Definitely on my wish list!
Once again super impressed with OOD. Great job making it open source
This guy needs more subs and views
I was hoping Juno's fury would be a hard tubing stock like the sylphrena but as it is its still really sweet. Love the new flywheels as well, that's probably what I'm most excited about
Since so many files are hosted, I'm sure folks with CAD skills will be on that Toot-sweet! I'd probably do it myself if I had a local nerf community.
Can't wait to print one!
Hardware ordered and printing started
Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
Juno's Fury looks like it was made for going inside a thumbhole stock. That is a design I want to work on.
The Jupiter released over five years ago? I don’t want to feel old
It would be interesting to have the ability to connect a stock to Juno's Fury, so that the hose could be secured if one did not desire it to flop about. Or have a stock design as an add-on to Juno's Fury, with the hose passing through it.
Cool! Would love to see OOD invent an open source stryfe-x style snap on battery pack with integrated alarm and charger.
For the hose mag, it sould be neat if you could flip the fan out to have a mini funnel where you could load balls more easily.
It’s great you’ve brought Jupiter back to the fore! I am considering purchasing Jupiter as my first custom blaster, and as my first electronics project! I’m sure I’d be much happier with the performance of Juno, but sadly I absolutely cannot accept the bulk. It looks significantly less holsterable, which seemed the entire point of the Jupiter over a rifle. I understand the perhaps non-negotiable validity of adding the battery compatibility for an only slightly larger pistol, but a pistol is already slight, so every cm counts. It’s a fine product, but I don’t think I’ll ever purchase a Juno when I could just finish up my Hera. Perhaps consider a Juno Lite design?
Juno's fury would be even better as a scavenger blaster if the loading door was sliding and toped with a funnel as wide as the blaster. A sliding loading port could remain round (with minimal diameter change) to relive congestion.
If the top of the funnel had rubber fingers it could act as a hopper to hold rounds until you had time to slide open the port and shake them into the mag tube.
"Juno was mad
He knew he'd been had
So he shot at the sun with a gun
Shot at the sun with a gun
Shot at his willy one, only friend..."
Take My Money!!!
Huge fan of all that you do. Regarding the tube feed mini proton pack could the tubing be worked into a 3d printed stock because that would be amazing
You gotta put a scope on that side rail
You could even put a scope on the battery door if you pick the picatinny rail option...
This with a proton pack plus a little rocket on the side would absolutely destroy in HvZ!
Okay, question! Does the stock flywheel cage support non-photon wheels? Asking this, because I'm wanting to gut my Jupiter for its components, and gather the rest of the hardware myself. Ideally I'd be able to re-use the pusher motor, motors, switches and flywheels.
Thank you, my dream is true
Looks great! What are the filament colors used in the Juno's Fury? They look great
I'm more interested in the flywheels to be honest, would love to replace the fwc set-up in my perses with something beefier.
Hey Luke! The new flywheels say they work with Mega as well. Any clue what motor spacing you were using for those? For those of us with Motostrykes and Mastodons to spare 😆
I spoke with Tarik, and he hasn't yet done enough testing to provide recommendations for crush when firing mega darts. If you find a spacing that works before we get around to it, we'd love to hear about it!
Awesome! I have dreamed about getting a proton pack since the first time I saw a DIY one…
Please post a video on the process printing this blaster and asembly i looked a t github but i couldn't figure it out. I really wanted to get the jupiter but i did not want to spend that much money on it and thank you. You are the person that got me into Nerf.
Make the Out of Darts Neptune
hey @outofdarts how about a small medium button that You don’t have to press so hard where You don’t have to apply pressure. would be a great disability friendly option. since i have a person/friend who is disabled and has a 3d printer of their own.
Oh, this is so so cool. Will the wheels be sold separately? I'm less interested in the Juno herself and more in what these new wheels will enable for hobby Mega and Rival flywheelers 👀
Yup, they are already available in the shop.
Yes! OOD Photon flywheels are available here: outofdarts.com/products/ood-photon-flywheels
You should make it into a Mega Man arm blaster just for shitz and giggles
How many rounds does the fury hold? I know the tube could be shorter or longer, but as it was in the video do you have a rough idea?
My version held 65, and his held 40. So the range will be around there depending on print quality and assembly. This was on Kraken, Loki (which we are testing) should be able to push more and handle the higher ammo ranges.
@@turokhunter22 Nice, that should be a lot of fun, unsurprisingly my first thought seeing it was wondering if that setup would be viable in a flag push style game for an aggressive player lol
YES I WANT TO PRINT ONE!!!!! also the video said that the new flywheels work well with Mega darts, so can you feed them into the mag like you can on some other Rival flywheelers like the Perses?
Yes, you can still put Mega darts in rival mags. However, if you're more experienced in design, they'd be great in a dedicated mega dart-firing flywheeler!
@@outofdarts I'm not experienced at all but thought it would be fun to spray a few through the Juno 😜
I wonder how difficult it would be to arm mount this...
woud there be a way to reverse current to the vaccum motor so it sucks balls in? Thatd make loading way faster and cooler.
I love my Jupiter, got it kitted out with a Crooked Cousin in the front and with the top rail I attach it to barrels on other blasters to act as a MasterKey. I see that the top battery door has picatinny rail will there be an option for the front piece to have rails to attach a crooked cousin like the Jupiter?
one question I have is that when using this at a high rate of firer would it have higher fps then the Jupiter with the same pusher when under load from a proton pack
Looks like I need to buy 300 spools of petg and get myself one
6:11 Trigger discipline! Don't shoot yourself in the balls with high velocity balls!
I'v got a juno and I'm interested in the Juno's Fury. Any chance we can get an update on that?
may i ask how much these 15 round rival mags are and if they can be used in the pathfinder?
Wish you kept the adjustable hop up :(
Make it into a sidecar blaster like herja
would it be possible to make a version which works without the photon wheels (although it would be worse with hurricanes)? that way it would be possible to self source without having to pay £45 for a £16 item... (uk import tax)
Do photon wheels work in other rival blasters?
Directly? No. The wheel size is similar to short and full-length darts. Standard rival wheels are much more significant. You can always request OOD to make changes for a particular blaster.
Will the proton pack follow the same route of being open source for this?
If you said this I didn’t catch it, but what will be happening to the Jupiter in the shop?
Will the photon wheels fit in the existing Jupiter flywheel cage? Or will a Juno cage fit in a Jupiter?
Probably not and No. The wheel are taller so it will misalign with the feeding.
If this proves successful, will you consider making Little Rocket barrels open-source?
Mags and ammo, that's my big concern. I don't know where to find either of those anywhere. I had assumed rival was dead so I moved on to half dart blasters. Where can we get mags and ammo?
We have ordered a bunch of worker 15-round rival mags and their rival-compatible rounds to supply anyone who is purchasing a Juno. Additionally, to our knowledge, all three major brands still have rival-style rounds on store shelves.
I would love to print one, however what size motor does it take? :)
The flywheels are standard 130-sized motors and the pusher uses an N20 gear motor.
Does it work with proton pack
Is there any chance the OG proton pack will make a return in the future? Would love to build one and not sure what else is available
He said first quarter next year I believe
Did you watch the video before commenting?
i did but guess i missed it :/@@JamesLeigh28
the og looks cooler
I want a proton pack so bad....
You should make a nerf barrel with flywheels so anybody can take their stock Nerf gun and make it better
How picky is it with all the cheap/crappy HIR balls out there. It gets old trying to sort out the crappy balls that tend to jam in the pusher mechs.
We still do not recommend new Headshot rounds because they are too stiff and could stall the flywheels.
I am not sure. I have tried all types of balls I had including the blue smaller rounds. What I can say is the wheel has larger concave, they are closer together and the pusher guides the balls closer to the center instead of pushing only off the wall.
I would LOVE to print one.
130 fps, bruh, bro forgot about the pixie dust effect
