The amazing reharmonization performance is really impressive. It adds a new level of beauty to the original melody. It's very interesting to see the various emotions and tones expressed in each variation. The grand and deep sound of the organ makes the atmosphere of the song stand out even more. Reinterpreting classical hymns with this creative and unique approach really gives the listener a new experience. Please continue to play a lot of original organ music like this!
This is a great introduction and harmonization on Lobe den Herren. I especially liked the introduction about half-way through.. nice writing here ! Thanks, Paul. This will be useful in worship.

Kommet zuhauf, Psalter und Harfe, wacht auf,
lasset den Lobgesang hören!
2. Lobe den Herren, der alles so herrlich regieret,
der dich auf Adelers Fittichen sicher geführet,
der dich erhält, wie es dir selber gefällt;
hast du nicht dieses verspüret?
3. Lobe den Herren, der deinen Stand sichtbar gesegnet,
der aus dem Himmel mit Strömen der Liebe geregnet.
Denke daran, was der Allmächtige kann,

Nicely crafted, but I’ve never thought of this as a Christmas hymn, at least not here in the States.
Christmas is still over a month away. That said, there is an Advent hymn set to this tune. Bach used the Advent title, _Kommst du nun, Jesu, vom Himmel herunter,_ in the Schubler Chorales.
