Hi hon sorry I'm late we lost our Internet again just got it back !! Good review 👍👍 oh man no rapping in this video ? 😟 Still love the outtakes !! They always make me smile !!
For the pricetag, and the fact that it's strictly a single shot, I feel it should group much tighter at fifty yards. You don't want to miss the brainpan on a hundred+ Lb. wild boar at that range when you're looking at three or four seconds minimum cycle time to reload and reacquire target.
That's strange. I have a friend who is shooting slugs with the .257 at some extreme distances 500+ yards on a gong. Could it be different barrel or something else as add-on tungsten hammer was a big upgrade of this platform as well as in the fx guns.
Hi, nice video. you velocities are extreme for pellets, my 30 cal Crown grouped under an inch at 100 yards with the JSB 44.75gr @ 900-905fps. If you bring the FPS down that Texan will surprise you. Superb accuracy and shot count will go up. Greetings from South Africa
You were shooting boarder line super Sonic at just under 1200fps , I believe you were actually in trans sonic which was causing flight disturbances to your projectiles, my advice is to shoot slower than trans sonic , subsonic flight of your projectiles will group at under a half inch
Hey I love the song! Movies and TV used to have original material written for their soundtracks/themes. It made for some of the best/worst music of that era. Glad to see that’s not completely gone from the world. 🎼Time to send some lead downrange…🎵 That song’s gonna be stuck in my head now 😂
You will find that it will bring the energy way up with slugs in 115-150 grn.. also, I’m sure you’re breaking the sound barrier at those speeds… those heavier slugs should be quieter… Good video as always, Angie
Hi, nice video. I also have a texan 308 LSS and practice with home casting LEE 120gn and 155gn slugs. I think the good thing about the texan 308 is that it can shoot 44.75gn pellets to 200gn slugs. I'm having a hard time adjusting the power dial right now. Where do you set the power dial when shooting JSB 44.75 pellets and what psi are you starting at?
Hey guys, I will have a follow up of actual .308 ammo for this one. I was not prepared as I should have been, for that I apologize.
Looks like it would make a great hunting rifle. Great review as always Angie.
Thank you!!

I would recommend you look more into the NSA Slugs for that rifle.
Great review! Love the Airforce Airguns!
Got it coming.
Definitely a hunting rig , make the first shot count , no follow up . This model has grown on me . Thanks Angie
Absolutely! You're very welcome!

Thank you for the advice! I’m testing slugs in it next and will probably stick with those. Thank you again though!

Hi Angie!
HI, I'll ask you again.
Did you start the jsb 44.75gn 18shot at 300psi? Where was the power dial at that time?
The texan isn't supposed to be using .30 cal pellets or slugs, its a .308 big bore. Needs .308 slugs which are double the weight of the pellets.
You had me at ammo..
How about as a con, it looks like a bazooka!!!! Or maybe a laws missal!
It’s a Texan 308…..therefore you need to use .308 slugs….I mean err 🙄
That’s on the way.
