I respect what they did with these bottles and I thought all three were good, but none were great. Larceny BP is definitely one of my favorites and is much better than the wheated.

Great content! I really like the comparisons you brought in and if you didn't have what you considered the "optimal" comparison, you still called it out. Also, top notch stuff with the graphics and zoom in on the labels. Can you please tell me how/where you got the background track that plays throughout the video? It brought a good vibe and reminds me of when I get together with friends to sample whiskey and we throw on some music in the background.

I really appreciate the feedback. Just getting started in the TH-cam channel and Whiskey review World. Steep learning curve when it come to using editing software and adding cool graphics that keep people engaged.
As for the music , these songs are preloaded in the video editing software and have random names, but not trademarked by artists so we can legally use them. I don’t know what they actually are. Chris Stapleton instrumental only would be my recommendation.
Please subscribe if haven’t and share on as many platforms as you can to help me out.
Where are you located ? I’ll send you some free samples.

Liked and subscribed. I appreciate the thorough review and the value comparison. I do like the concept that Heaven Hill is pursuing here. Time will tell if it is well received by the market and whether reviews like this may help them re-evaluate their MSRP. I just purchased all 3 and look forward to tasting it with friends. I do like Heaven Hill products. So giving it a try.

Very interesting. As a newbie, what is your favorite or recommended bourbon and rye for less than 50? For Bourbons, I really like 1792, Woodford Reserve, Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace but would love any recommendations you might have as a seasoned vet. The only Rye I've had is from Texas Trails Distillery in Galveston and I like it. Thank you!!

Hi there, my recommendation for entry level bottles around $50 would be Woodford Double Oaked, EC Barrel Proof, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Makers Mark "Wood finish/Stave profile" store pick, Knob Creek 9 and 12 year for bourbon and for Rye's Id grab a Pikesville, Sagamore Rye pretty much any bottle, but especially the 8 years, but those are a little more expensive, Knob Creek Rye. If you can grab a store or club pick "Barrel Pick" of any of these then that much better. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think about those and if you want any other recommendations. I'm planning to do a suite of newbie guidance videos. Please share this channel with friend that into whiskey.
