I was there on its outward journey with 1 other gentleman and saw the farmer shovelling the manure into that field 😂 i was also there for the return journey after heading into Bromsgrove and back, everyone had turned up by then lol ❤
Sometimes slow is good John but I bet the bridge was busy as it's a good viewpoint at WO. I suspected you'd be on the Lickey and it seems that the usual gang were on the other side.... I'm just not 'competetive' enough these days Lol. Regards, Brian.
Brian, Not too many at WO to watch it crawl past. I was planning to video at Whitacre Jct. with the drone but the wind forecast was in excess of 40mph. The other side at Vigo was rammed but I always prefer the field side. It's two Fives up the Lickey next Sunday so here's your chance 😂 Regards, John
@@GreatBritishRailways1 the wind might have deterred a few & the overcast maybe the photographers. That's the Great Britain then but didn't know what was on it. I doubt I'll be joining the crowds. I've fired up it so many times nothing can compete lol. Regards,Brian.
There's bound to be someone saying "being pushed by a Diesel 😝" but if anyone expects a Class 5 to tackle 1 in 37 unassisted with 11 coaches then good luck to them. Certainly a fine sound there
It was quite a load and not forgetting that the diesel engine is powering the ETH in the coaches. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Regards, John
There,s not idiots just being practical ,DL help was innevitable ,why do have to be so offensive in your language .6or 7 would have been the limit for a single Class 5 .
Excellent footage John, that was a great climb even with some assistance, sounding great and some nice clag, regards nige👍
Nige, Yes this was a classic performance from the Five and the crew. Regards, John
Very nicely filmed John, hoping to see two 5s soon, maybe without any help from the rear, cheers Steve .
Steve, Two Fives shouldn't require any assistance but perhaps not on the Lickey. Regards, John
Lovely shots John, looked a good climb of the Lickey with not too much assistance
Austin, Yes a classic performance from the Five. Regards, John
Great video as always John. Kind regards, Jake.
Jake, Thanks for watching and for your comment. Regards, John

I did and hope to see you Sunday with your drone shots John
Fantastic John!
Diesel had to step in though, seemed a decent load for a single 5, but she performed superbly
Regards, Liam
Liam, Yes quite a load and of course the diesel has to power the Electric Train Heating. Good to see you and the gang. Regards, John
Nice video John :)
Glad you enjoyed it. Regards, John
