I really appreciate how you are using and showing us how to do good upgrades like this with 4 lugs. Every other forum post you see always says "durr swap for a five lug it's better" but lo and behold there are no parts. Keep up the channel my man, I love it!

Are you still using the oem sized rotor or did you get a bigger size for the new caliper?
I appreciate your videos and they have helped a lot in the refurbishing of my 85 300zx that was sitting in the garage for a few years. One thing I was wondering about from this video is, I want to get some SS brake lines, and when I search I cannot find a direct answer as to whether the Stock brake lines are different on the base vs turbo model. Were the set you bought for either? Thanks for any help.

Scary enough my hub bolt was less than finger tight I drive tf out of my zx and recently took a hour road trip 😂 my car loves me but I didn't realize I had confused the rear caliper I ordered with my front now I'm just sitting here like ahh neat no parts
What’s your wheel size including offset?
What's the size of the spacers you put in the front to clear the caliper? Is it the same 5mm you had previously?
I've been trying to figure out how to get on these forums for a while now I've got a 86na z31 hoping it not to be that way very long but I've got about every mod you can think of for Na I've watched about every one of the videos on internet about the z31s and that gold motor in that silver z is the most beautiful z I've ever seen I believe I've blacked out my window trim I've done just about everything I've seen you do to your car something about the z I love all of them but the z31 is my favorite
it's just something about doing your own work to your own z and making it the way you want it I don't think I would ever take it to a shop I'm the only one that has touched mine since 2001

So your saying that z32 calipers will just bolt up to any z31 hub?
Yup, just need to space it out with some washers to center it on the rotor
what is the side skirt you have ?
Did you do the rear camber modification to your z31?

Did you use 87+ turbo spindles or stock 85 na spindles?
The spindles dont matter as they are all the same. These are 85 hubs though
Hey man I was wandering If you straight up deleted your hand/parking brake or if those E brake cable holders on the Z32 match the Z31 “cable retainers” perfectly. I was going to use 97 240SX rear calipers because they’re an exact match but the retainers are different and I don’t want to fab something if I don’t have to... I think the z32 calipers might be a bit on the bulky side for the oem aluminum salad chopper “Nissan” rims. If you can get back to me soon that would be amazing although this is probably a dead horse. It’s rare to find an un modded Z31 so I’m really trying to keep her that way as much as possible but I understand ease of access upon future malfunction and making necessary updates
I'm contemplating rear caliper swap too. I might check out thr 240sx option. Rebuilt calipers for these cars are becoming a pain in the ass to find

Are they the bracketed or unbraketed calipers?
Is the caliper closer to the wheel than factory? Would a 14” wheel still possibly work?
Darrell Hudson i do not believe so. Z32 cane with 16” wheels and we had a tough time getting 15” wheels over the z32 calipers. If you want to keep your 14” wheels, i would suggest using the 87+ turbo z31 or Infiniti q45 2 piston calipers

So is there a little extra work for the rears to be upgraded as well or is it pretty much the same deal?
not sure on rears. Z31 has ebrake in the caliper while most others have it in the rotor
Where did you get that front brake line for the z32 caliber. Could you send me the information to give one you don't mind
I think you can still buy them at thezstore.com under z31 brake upgrades. Remember the z31 lines fit the z32 calipers as long as you punch out the plug he showed in his calipers rebuild video.

I know its Late but are the brake lines z31 or z32
He used Z31 lines, he makes an adjustment in the rebuild video so that they will work

Did you use z32 rotors for the front or stock z31 ones
He stated they are new stock 4 lug rotors (z32 is 5 lug fyi)
I believe he said he used z31 turbo setup to keep the 4 lug pattern
