Loved it! I'm amazed that all of that could fit in a 40L backpack! I have a 60L backpack with me for 20y now, super sturdy, but heavy. I'm strugling to replace it for a 40L one, lighter, carry on luggage. 👏👏👏
This was very helpful, I am going on a trip in 2024 and have seen very few videos of women one-bagging it. I intend on going the 1 bag method after my last vacation having a 40L carry on backpack and juggling a large tote. It was too much and my back and shoulders were hurting. This year I decided to shove everything in 1 bag to make it more manageable.
Oh, that sounds cool. Where are you going? :) Remember that wherever you go you will have washing machines, and if not, a sink. I went on a 10-d trip with what I was wearing plus 2 extra shirts, one jumper, 3 underpants, 3 pairs of socks. I loved the freedom :) I got a 2-in-1 solid bar for hair and body. Dental tabs are cool too. If you can go without make-up, more space that you save. :)
REI brand and I no longer recommend it for the only reason that the feather 🪶 keeps coming out. It’s just a defect that seems to be common in this jacket especially.
I prioritized travel over many things because it’s important to me. I was working for a while, I saved up and decided to leave my job to fulfil my dream of backpacking and seeing the world because three weeks a year was not enough. It took some sacrifice and taking risk but it was so worth it. After my backpacking trip, I’ve been focusing on creating travel content, trying some side hustles and launching a travel business @TravelWithTrekkingPals and that’s where things are now

It’s amazing how much you can fit it.
I’d say think of things you can do without by looking at what you used to carry in your 60 and start from there.

I’m glad this helped and yes one bag is so much more convenient and easier. Enjoy your next adventure

I love this! But do the airlines you fly on have a weight limit? Because the ones i usually go on have a 7kg weight limit for carry ons
The only time I had to check this bag in was once with Qatar Airways
You have your own sofa 😅
How much does your backpack weigh? I am nervous of over packing and want to keep to a sensible weight.
Hi! What puffer jacket did you use??
