I would guess he has had some sessions with Neville Grenfell. Not many trumpet players hold with left hand like that. Keeps the sound as pure as possible

Not bad but better versions,seem to be making hard work of it,I only have three teeth at the top and none at the bottom,but love hearing and playing this,it's good on bugle as well,
I call bullshit.....Tui didn’t have “two teeth” as John described. Tui had a good set of teeth. Tui Teka blew this tune on the trumpet one handed.....unlike John, who needed two.
Your music is fine, it is the intro. That takes too many time of the video clip. If you can edit the clip that one can see more of the music wil be much beter.
