- While I wait for the remainder of my parts to come in, I wanted to show all of you some of the parts that I bought for my R model Mack as well as a quick tutorial on how to dismount semi-truck tires. Things are slowly moving in the other direction, but that's okay. As bad as I want to get this truck done, I want to make sure that I am doing the best work I can possibly do and that I'm being as thorough as I can possibly be.
If you enjoy the video, please give it a thumbs up so that it spreads to more Mack fans.

Those manuals are worth their weight in gold
Reminds me of many Saturdays spent working on the trucks when I drove a log truck. Saturday was usually tire and oil change day. My back still hurts... Those books are worth gold. The R model is easy to work on and tough as nails.
Someone once told me, "if you're going to own a mack, you better have a strong back and deep pockets". I believe it, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Getting a lot of good parts. Doesn't hurt to have parts. You never know what you may use them for. Truck is gonna be nice once you've got it finished.
Yes sir. It's only a matter of time before you can't get parts for these trucks anymore.
@@oilfarmer706 exactly better to get them now and stock up
Lookin good driv'ah
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
I really really really need that manual for my 02 mack vision sleeper truck having some issues with some sensors
I don't think any of the manuals I got are for anything that new. Manuals are worth their weight in gold.
R u gonna rerail this truck....if so are u gonna get new rails or used rails
Yes. It's getting used frame rails that are in exceptionally good condition.
@@oilfarmer706 that's great......I have a 97 RD that is double framed now but is deteriorating, just started to think about rerailing....I will look for a good set of single frames
@@jakelesher4120 I don't think you can get new rails for an old mack since they're splayed.
@@markwilliams4525 there are places that will make them , not mack
@@jakelesher4120 I've never found anyone to make them, any other truck frame yes but not a mack frame
