For all the effort that went into this video I think the creators deserved better comments. For example, the comment you made was very boring and really didn't show us anything other than how utterly devoid of originality you are.
Lucas' thoughtful articulation of profound ideas and wisdom go beyond the food ".. .. And sure, sometimes things are not so pure ... .. but if we let go and embrace things for their deliciousness, that is a new type of authenticity that has come through time" He is a sage of the current epoch who happens to use food as his medium! 🌞

Hey congratulations. You just described every chef or host in every food video ever. Oh, I know what you should say next. “I like how knowledgeable he is about the food.”
most south east asian countries use margarin because butter is not as readily available, then don't have grazing land to raise cattle, they do have some but not much, most use their land to grow paddie (rice).

Coconut oil is abundant in SE Asia. Why not slowly fry it i that with lemongrass, galangal, basil, mint and ginger with a bunch of wild rainforest shrooms?
I love how he’s constantly presenting information and not in a boring way.
It’s very boring honestly. But I enjoy the culture

I like how raw and unproduced these videos feel. Really tasteful

Never enough Chef Lucas's videos
I want to see a regular travel show for Lucas! That would be great. Love the way information is presented. Easily understood and digested!
Explanation is clear and concise. Of all the food bloggers this is one I love most.
Chef Lucas' articulation is just on another level

Chef Lucus presented this restuarant better than local Thais program. really enjoy!!
This looks like perfection
I like that he has been eating this food his entire life but he reacts like its his first time
No, he hasn't. Did you just assume he's a local? wtf

I just bought salted plums to make drinks. The best!
Lucas the Goat
that looks like heaven
and this is the first thing i watch after waking up.... not looking up for breakfast now...
The pork rind "garg moo" is also great with noodles and fried rice.
My favorite chef! As a pho shop owner 🙆♂️

I love Lucas and this video. But respectfully have to ask: why margarine vs butter?
Perfuming the scallop with that smoky charcoal flavour... Love your description!
GOLD
Never thought a Michelin star restaurant would use margarine
Love how the wok has a hole in it. That's how you know this place is legit.
MEGA!
more chef lucas please
Looks Lovely but I wished they would use butter not margerine
Lucas!
Why use margarine instead of butter ?
I’ll never understand why people remove the roe on the scallop, they’re just as/if not more delicious than the scallop lol.
Wish they used butter instead of margarine , that stuff was literally invented to replace plastic.
Think the suki is because typically sukiyaki has a raw egg sauce similar to this
you could almost eat the shell
looks yum, but this is not a michelin star restaurant, it's on bib gourmand michelin list.
Google map location?
I hope he's being paid
michelin rated and they're using margarine???? hahaha🤭
Also, Lucas! please relearn how to wai! that was so weak lol.
Hot dumpster fire of a comment section today.

India take note: Utensils 😆
lol I would be hella annoyed if some rando started dubbing my process in real-time while hovering all over my tiny kitchen space.

Was so sad when I saw this video was only 5 minutes long 😢
Margarine? Margarine? Is there something besides margarine called margarine? I ask because margarine is not food.
Never use margarine.
SUPERME
no salted drinks blegh
He eats like he hasnt eaten in a week
what kind of place uses margarine and has a michelin star? is this the standard??
First!
Love your vids about asian food! :)
michelin star prices, bankok wages
No, It cost only around 1.9 USD per dish. A real bargain for the taste.
@@zhalvia A real bargain for tourists. Apparently, doctors in a goverment hospital make around 2k USD/month and graduates make around $500USD/mo in Bangkok. $2 a dish is pretty expensive for locals.
Michelin Star and margarine should never be in the same sentence.
fyi dairy not much of a thing in thailand
Don’t insult the food gods!!!!!!!! Get on your knees and ask for forgiveness!
Whatever.
@@missingabyme that's because like 99% of Asians and Pacific Islanders are lactose intolerant.
@@qwickiegaming8597 insulting the food gods is taking a beautiful scallop and putting highly processed vegetable oil on it.
Again no Michelin star given to these places, Elvis Suki in Bangkok for instance has only a Bib Gourmand. Sorry thought they would do proper research😇
Once he said sweet..gonna be a no for me dawg. not how i want those to taste.
If your scallops don't have any natural sweetness to them you're getting ripped off
im talking about the dish itself. he said that's it like candy. @@halfassedfart
You guys don't know the difference between a Michelin Star restaurant and Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Get your facts straight please!
Exactly
Margerine? 😮
Much of East Asia is Lactose intolerant so they use it instead of butter in casual restaurants like this

Margarine in a scallop? I stopped watching after that. Margarine is NOT food!
Why would you ever consider eating scallops with a spoon??!??!?!
Why have you not given a location link? Are you a novice?
Im shocked 6.4 million subscribers and you donot give a location link. Truly sad.
just google the name of the restaurant! I found the info in 5 seconds
