Davy's legs must have been so bruised! I took a hammered dulcimer class once and the instructor had us beat our tiny, light weight hammers against our legs for some exercises. He told us to be gentle or we would be sore and bruised the next day. I laughed. The next day I was sore and bruised.

The blonde with long hair dancing in the flowery dress is gorgeous. She looks like a girl i crushed hard on in school. Haven't seen her since 71. Dont even know she is still alive but still think of her often.

    • @tomodonovan5931

lol! Girls like that usually had the fathers who were capable of ripping
a phone book in half! The type when you knocked on her door the
whole house shook as he walked to answer it. You always wanted to see
what her mom looked like, or if she had an older sister! But that all vanished
when Daddy answered the door with an upside down smile on his face. lol!
The girl I think of is the one I walked to school holding hands. My older
brothers would laugh at us. The little bridge that we would cross over a
ravine is still standing, the water is gone, but the bridge remains. And I also
wonder who, and where she is now. The schools were very stupid back then.
They would take your picture for the class photos, but did not put the names
under the students. Smart right? How do you find classmates later??
Anyway, I hope someday you can find your crush. Time may have changed the
outside features, but it never changes the heart and mind inside.

@@tomodonovan5931 her father was a marine ww2 korea and vietnam veteran as well so it was even scarier knowing he had already probably killed many men. Lol.

    • @tomodonovan5931
      @tomodonovan5931 ปีที่แล้ว

@@jeffboone7959 Yeah, i worked with some of those Vietnam Vets.
Their stories would make Rambo's eye's widen! I can't repeat
them on social media. They involved a lot of stealth is all I can
say. The girl's father was probably deprogrammed successfully,
thank goodness. They trained you to freaking kill, and it must have
been a hard habit to break after the war. It's funny how the human
mind works. Some were good at killing, others not so good. I love any
movie about Nam. Casualties Of War, Platoon, Friendly Fire. But I would
like to see a really good Korea movie. This girl's father fought in all three
wars? He must have loved the military lifestyle! These kids today can
meet each other while serving their country. I knew a few who enlisted
when they were single with a kid. The military would simply watch the
kid while she worked over seas. You get free housing, and that sweet
pension after twenty years. You could raise six or seven kids back in the
sixties. Not today, you might if you make a lot of sacrifices. But it would be
almost impossible to do so. I tell you it's hard trying to find girls you once
knew when you started to notice them. They have mostly disappeared, and
left no traces of themselves. That's probably why dudes get married, so they
don't have to look for them. I never married. There was too much eye candy!
