Young Jazz Ensemble - Grade 3
Here's the popular hit from Disney's Encanto skillfully adapted for young jazz ensemble. This great-sounding chart features a moderate Latin groove and short solos (written or ad lib.) for tenor sax and trombone.

As fun as the solos are, disappointing Dolores & Isabella’s parts were cut! This is the second Paul Murtha arrangement for Encanto music where Dolores & Isabella’s part we’re cut, come on! Big fan of these covers usually.
They rlly don’t care what you say tbh
real what do they have against Dolores and Isabella 😭
🤓👆
the solos was dope
Soli
@@mohameddervi5957 two solos
solis is with multiple instruments at same time no ?
@@SnowTurtle A soli is usually a distinct melody played by members of an instrument section or instrument sub group (for example, a trombone soli would be a melody that only the trombone players have or a low brass/low woodwind soli would be a melody that members that play low brass (Trombone, Baritone/Euphonium, and Tuba) and low woodwinds (Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Tenor Sax, and Bari Sax) would have).
@@jeffreyugochukwu1942 yup that's exactly what I've said
but at one time their had a trombone solo and a sax tenor solo, that's my point
@@SnowTurtle Duet is more of the accurate term you were looking for because 1st Tenor Sax and 1st Trombone parts only required one player from each section to do a call and response to each other. Soli would be specific towards many instruments either in the same section or subgroupping in instrumentation group.
Maravilhoso! 🇧🇷
THEYVE POSTED AGAIN!!!
Always solid writing with Paul yes ! but the horns could put more feeling into the performance. The tune was screaming for the sass. KOOL solos though.
............... now I'm craving a torta lol
