- I was really excited to do a “Day in the Life” pregnant edition for y’all and I guess so was the baby because we pulled all the stops for this one haha. A pretty common symptom of pregnancy is vivid dreaming, so we started the morning with a bang, and woke up from the scariest dream in my life! You’ll see throughout the day my symptoms go from none to all in a matter of minutes - the fun part of pregnancy! Haha

I had severe hyperemesis with my first. From 6 weeks til the day I had her, I was throwing up 40+ times per day. Spent over 7 months in the hospital from dehydration and lost almost 50 lb. It was not my favourite time lol, but she's here and she's perfect and healthy

This! I wish someone had warned me about this. You go through a weird phase after little one is born, and I think post partum depression played a huge role in mine. You go through a phase where you are trying to figure out who you are again. You don't feel like your old self anymore and it is hard to not lose yourself in your new role of being a Mom. I never wanted to be away from my little one, but I wish someone would have pushed me to have some "me" time every once in awhile. You take on a whole new identity being a Mom. A HUGE blessing, but it is okay to need some "you" time during this process. 🥰

@jenniwalker30 first of all, congratulations to you! Being a mom is a huge blessing and honor. My little one just turned 6 months last week. Time flies by so fast. It's bittersweet because you want them to not grow up so fast but seeing them hit every Milestone and develop little personalities is such an awesome experience. If I can offer any advice.. take some time for yourself every now and then. Even if it's just a long shower, a trip to the grocery store, a walk around the neighborhood.. take time to find out who you are and get to know this new version of you. Lean into those around you, it truly takes a village! The more to love your little one, the better! And finally, take pictures and capture precious moments.. but keep your phone to a minimum around your little one. Soak them in and enjoy them, because they are only this little once. ❤️ sending hugs and love to you, your family and your little bundle of joy 🫂

I’m a mom of two boys, you are handling pregnancy like a champ Brooklyn!! I was literally stuck on my couch so sick the first trimester and not much better the second trimester so the fact that you are up and working and everything else is amazing. You’re a rockstar! Congrats to you and Dakota! ❤
Dakota is the sweetest person for situating the bed for you. He knows how to treat his lady that was too cute 🥰.
Video Idea: Try combining you and Dakota's baby pictures via A.I. apps so you could somehow visualize what the baby would look like. However, I believe baby boy will be as gorgeous as his parents are.
P.S. I've been watching you and Bailey ever since I was in 6th grade and by next month, I'm gonna be a college graduate.

My baby is turning 1 this month. I’m 26, my husband and I were so excited when we found out we were having a baby. Tips- Don’t buy too many clothes. Buy as you go/or as needed. You’re going to get a lot of presents and most are going to be clothes. My baby didn’t wear half the clothes we got her just because she was allergic to polyester, she had a bad allergic reaction. Also don’t get button up pajamas only zip up pajamas for your baby they’re so much easier to change your baby at night. Make a registry (you can return stuff you don’t want or exchange them). Take a lot of multivitamins, get as much sleep while you can haha the newborn phase is no joke. So excited for you 🎉❤❤❤

I was so sick the first trimester. I just stayed in my dark room with pots and pans for like 8 weeks. I got on a nausea medication that helped me a lot in the second trimester. Third trimester was tiring. Idk I hated the sickness and the brushing teeth and the countless symptoms, but I LOVED feeling her move and dreaming about her. She's 1 now and worth every single struggle! ❤

Gonna sound super weird and random but I promise you’ll be happy you did it, don’t forget to do your “belly oil” on thighs, butt, and lower back. Eeeeeverything stretches when your belly grows.

@@JilliaRae I didn't get stretch marks until after I gave birth to my 4th baby. And it's only 2 on my left hip. And I have some really small almost unnoticeable ones on my breasts, but those don't really bother me. My hip ones bother me because they are super red.
the vivid dreams are a REAL thing!! I have worked myself up because I was crying in my dream and crying in real life. It gets better :)

Just an advice from when my nephew was a newborn, my brother and SIL loved the longsleeve onesies with kind of build-in mittens. Kind of like the sleeves are much longer and you can either fold them over the hands to prevent scratching his face, you could also not use them. He usually lost the non-attached mittens during the night.
I had my daughter almost a year ago. I remember the stage you're in now. Enjoy it all; for most moms, the nauseous goes away in the 2nd trimester but others have it through the whole thing or not at all.
Can get enough of the pregnancy videos love them sm!!! Brooklyn, praying you and Dakota have a super healthy baby and that God gives you the wisdom to be AMAZING parents. 💗💗
I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time with the nausea. I used dried papaya for mine and it helped so much. I'm also a really small built person, and my babies were tiny but mighty at birth. I ran into the problem where NB clothes were too big for the first few weeks. I got a couple preemie sleeper and onsie sets from Walmart and Target to get us through that stage. I also love that you did the research on your oils, and explained what each one does to help the skin. The two of you absolutely got this for sure. You're going to be amazing parents 🩵

I always love buying mittens for newborns as well! Baby’s will scratch their face and it’s been super helpful for all of my family and friends I have gotten them for.

I had my first baby in April, so still fairly new to all of this. I didn't have a lot of sickness but man oh man did I have the exshaustion! Keep going momma you're doing a great job already with taking care of him! Growing a baby is no easy feat!

German Girl here - Why is nobody talking about the paper plates and plastic forks? Is it a thing in America to use these instead of proper plates/tableware? I‘m so confused 😅 This might be used for bigger partys here or when you’re moving, but I have not seen people use them otherwise. Selling plastic forks etc. will even be complety forbidden within the next few years for sustainibilty reasons…

My nephew was so big when he was born, he didn’t get to wear newborn clothes 😭😭😭 skipped right to 0-3months and soon moved up pretty quickly.

My husband literally used to be the same way brushing his teeth. He used to brush his tounge so hard that he gagged and vomited, and he didn't used to have that issue till he worked on a boat for a summer in Washington and just ended up having all these issues just throwing up all the time. I learned that he actually gets sympathy sick so hopefully I don't throw up too much during my pregnancy.

I love the pregnancy content! 😍I have a 4 month old babyboy now and the pregnancy really surprised me how tough it was... You always hear about the nausea and morning sickness, but it was way worse than I expected (the first 4 months). However, it is worth it! ☺

Look up the love to dream swaddles!! They’re a game charger for newborn sleep! I just had my second 2 weeks again and wish I had them with my first!!

Omg!! I am 24 as well and just had my first baby in February 💙 his name is Rook! I feel super lucky that I did not throw up at all during my pregnancy- of course I had other symptoms like insomnia/gas/heartburn but was so lucky not to throw up! He is now 5 months old, it goes so so quickly. Cherish every moment. I can’t believe he is already saying mama, dada, baba, sitting up, rolling over, etc. And for reference he can wear 3-6 or even 6-9 clothes right now! He is in size 3 diapers. So much I could say but good luck Brooklyn! 🎉

Girl, I bought my daughters entire wardrobe for a year in advance. It wasn’t even in purpose I just would get excited and always sized up. I didn’t have to get her clothes until she was 12 months. Don’t feel bad to spoil your baby!! And I also I nested alllll through my pregnancy so by the time I was almost due I got to relax and just wait for her without worrying about anything ❤
As a mama of 2 and just having my second in June I give you praise for powering through the sickness. I have two boys and wasn’t very sick with my first but this second time I thought I was dying lol

My favourite no toxin skincare is a brand called Moo Goo.
They do have some serum product that have active ingredients like hypotonic acid but 90% of their skincare brand is 100% natural and no active ingredients.
Also you will find that using straight up tea tree oil on your face will dry your spots and can make your makeup flaky… but you do what works for you ❤

I just had my first baby this year and I remember the first trimester like it was yesterday! It was so rough. Second trimester gets better and by third trimester you will be EXHAUSTED. Also something I didn’t know… during postpartum it’s a good possibility your hair will start to fall out🥴. But it’s all worth it when you’re holding your baby 🤗

The dreams were one of the worst parts for me! Night sweats every night. It gets better… when you have the baby! Lol. Congratulations! It’s the greatest gifts on earth 😊
