@@sv_cheats1970 i would pay double what i sold it for to have it back. The guy i sold it to changed his number shortly after, i pretty much immediately regretted selling it.
A nice mileage motor that was well taken care of and, you broke it, LOL...Those numbers after the swap are just barely beyond my stage 2 tune for my 1.8t, then again with a tune you should make some solid NA numbers, subscribed.
Life happens. Lol. I like how reliable the vr6 is. I'm looking forward to turbo the vr6, and I wish I had awd. I have a 01 tt 225 that is for sale right now runs on stage 2 and I like it it's quick.
@@sergesvz Well my benchmark for my 1.8t is to better 155mph. A mark set by my beloved mark 3 Jetta VR on a closed highway with professional drivers in my car, my brothers identically modded mark 3, and a lost Ford Mustang that couldn't pull beyond 130mph, Lol...
I had a 1.8t the whole shabang full bolt ones stage 2 tune w 2 step n all that and I just sold it to get a vr6 and tbh the vr6 power band is way better the 1.8t only picked up a little bit faster and lost it all at the top when the vr keeps pulling and the VR I got is bone stock other then a intake I just put on
hi, nice video , i have a cuestion , does the 3.6 engine from touareg have the holes to put the engine mounth braket on the right side ? or you have tu drill the block ?
I'm not sure. I have a 3.6 core from a Passat sitting around and I know the Passat block has them because it mounts the same way. I've been thinking about modified head from 2.8 and 3.6 bottom end. 3.2 modified head would be even better because their valves are 1mm oversized.
Yes, but only if it's early production R32. Apparently there's different engine codes that may have different cams and variable valve timing is different. I bought my engine from a 2004 Touareg I swapped the oil pump and the oil pan and the harness plugged right in I just need a swap tune. U would need a swap tune.
@@ronnymedina1523 the toaureg has a different oil pan and pump because the engine sits definitely. R 32 has same pump, same part number. not sure about oil pan. It might be slightly different because R32 has transfer, or it could be same as 2.8. the only thing I modified was the timing cover and it was a very small cut grind.
Good afternoon sorry to bother lol. I communicate with a person who sold me there r 32 engine And then you was removed from a Touareg 04 I believe you said that I can use the OEM harness from my 2.8 24v
The early 3.2 production I believe has the same cam. I didn't need to swap cams to go to 3.2 and no check engine light for it. You will need to swap your injectors and intake with throttle body, which will require swapping valve cover, because it has a different crankcase ventilation system.

I don't know if you can bolt up the AWD transfer case to 2.8 transmission or you need to replace the housing from the AWD. Internally it's the same maybe except for diff output where transfer case bolts up.

@@sergesvz fred basically turns your ecu into a r32 ecu, deletes the awd software. At least that's how he explained it. Worked flawlessly.

I believe you can swap 5 speed and 6 speed. But I'm not too sure about older transactions.

No, you need a r32 fuel rail, intake manifold and intake box (unless you use a cai). See united motorsports for the tune, they do a excellent job.
