Thank you. Was trying to figure out why the two headers were there and what they were for. The manuals it comes with do not say, was real confused and slightly worried I forgot to hook something up.
Thanks for your comment 🙏 and congrats on your further ascension. The white one is preem. I would want to see one in person but it's more of a waste for me since I would intend to take off the cooler.
Does the same go for the non super version of the Strix 4080? I need to do a teardown to replace my pads and paste and want to be prepared with the right kit before doing so
10% OC increase is massive. I got a none OC edition and got that and nobody believes me! Everyone keeps saying naw 3% but thank you for showing even you did. I mean ive has games get 10 to 14fps gains at times. Nothing to sneeze at. One major reason to buy asus if you want that edge. Its already winning by like 2 to 3fps on average then you get a 10 to 14fps gain if you get a good one? Yeah my 4080 super on cyberpunk 4k ultra gets 72fps instead of 61-62 like most 4080 supers. Thats a nice gain.
I hear most GPUs are receiving bad thermal paste and wanted to replace it on my rog 4070 ti super. I can't find a list detailing what thermal pads i will need
Thanks for this video, my 4080 has only been used for 9 months and my hotspot temps are hitting the high 90s. So i can now use your video as a guide so i can re-paste. And advice on what paste to use and what not to use? Many thanks!
@@hypnotickiller4802 did you use the 1.5 mm thick pad on the memory? some russian sources telling that on memory chips should be 1.25mm thickness pad to be precise: another source recommend 1,25 mm thick fehonda 15w/m.k for memory, 1,5 mm thick fehonda 12w/m.k for vrm and 1 mm thick fehonda 8w/m.k for backplate thanks
Thanks for your comment 🙏Loading up MSI afterburner with a cable capable of 450watts, the Strix 4080 allowed another 30% increase to the power limit, bringing it to approx. 416, rounding to 420. Hope that helps clarify what I was saying.
Thanks for your comment 🙏 I haven't had the opportunity to test the Super Aorus Master. I hope to have a more variety of video card testing in the future.
Thanks for your comment 🙏Right on brother! You got a nice piece of silicon there and the card absolutely does run cool, even with all that performance.
@@vectornetwork Thanks for the video. I'm planning on taking mine apart to install a PTM pad and this is the only video I can find doing a teardown of this card.
Woohoo!! Another video
Great video, keep up 🎉
Please enjoy watching 🙏
Thanks, lot of good information about this ROG GPU

My black version is being delivered tomorrow can't wait.
does the strix super have the updated h++ connector? after seeing the 4090s melting i'd just rather not buy one with n h+ connector

I bought one, freak out then returned it.... Now I want one 😂
Dude get one again! Lol I love mine.
👍
Nice video. I think max power consumption is 320w, not 420.

What about Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super Aorus Master is it worth the premium there asking?

I like my 4080s strix :) Gaming monster 🎉
Thanks for your comment 🙏 Congrats on your ascension and the card is an absolute beast
This card runs so cool. Mine rarely hits 60C and I have it overclocked even further.

I got the white one 😀
Thanks for your comment 🙏 Congrats my PC friend. A white 4080 super strix is pure ascension.
Asus tuf and rog is the only metal gpu in the world... I have them both 4090s.
