I’m Worried About Netflix…

Netflix has been coming out with a series of articles discussing their newest Avatar: The last Airbender live action adaptation set to release February 22, 2024. Each one of these articles discusses huge changes to the plots and characters. Including Sokka, Aang, and possibly more. Do you think the show should be anything like Game of Thrones?

The Sokka arc is only four episodes in animated series. Only two episodes contain sexism. The teen actor never said arc was removed just toned down. I am shocked at how many youtubers. have judged show without seeing it. I think even if show is good, people will still trash it just to prove rhey are right.

I think you're right and wrong. If I'm proven wrong I'll admit it and love it all at the same time. Sokka's sexism arc actually lingers throughout all 3 seasons. Just look at the Serpents Pass episode in season 2 when he was still trying to protect Suki but she was the one who protected him. It may not focus on his arc in one linear fashion but it still coincides with Sokka's maturity as it lingers into his role as a leader.

@@AiringAustin Sokka is not sexist in Serpents past. The sexism is only present and iffy in first four episodes.

Suggestion: Watch movie which sucked. Then, watch show. Show is probably 7 hours long 8 episodes. The Sokka character looks improved from horrible movie.

@@AiringAustin The movie was worst thing possible. Names pronounced wrong, poor casting, no humor, rushed plot , horrible bending, appa was horrifying..I could say more. Just from trailer,most of that is fixed. It is not to early to compare. I can't believe you think show would be worse than awful movie.
