@@shizukagozen777 Because Zuko only got to know them when they were fighting he didn't know any of their names until someone said them so an example would be he didn't know Suki's name until Sokka saw her and shouted out her name, he would only know the others name like katara, toph, aang, etc when someone else said them

In a way, him being awkward makes a lot of sense. While it is adorable, yes. It also humanizes him and shows that deep down he’s still a teenager who had just wanted love from his abusive father. It makes sense why he would be awkward outside of looking for his honor. Poor guy’s been chasing after honor for years when deep down all he wanted was love. Him being awkward isn’t just there for the sake of being quirky. It not only humanizes him, but considering he had been derived of love from his dad it makes sense that he’d struggle with people due to his abuse.
Not to mention how he’s never had any actual friends around his age throughout his life, excluding his sister’s friends. He spent years with people who were well beyond his age group so it makes a lot of sense why he’s so awkward around the gaang

I can relate...Zuko also being described as "cat" above means he's probably on the spectrum...and come to think of it when they had the bending game online at Nick...I selected fire most, because lightning was the fun bonus move and also fire describes when you need to vent.
Genuinely one of the best if not THE best ATLA character. Great arc, cool scar, good looking, phenomenal development, and most of all, awkward and cute at times to make him more human. What more can you ask for?

Ok fuck it.. I'm buying paramount+ and binge watching this show again at 27. I haven't seen this since I was like 10 or 11 and barely remember. Seeing this and some few other funny clips of them makes me miss the show and it's spectacular animated coriography of fighting styles.
