Norm went over to Richie Sambora’s house a couple weeks ago and Richie has been working on new music for the last 6 or 7 years, he must have 100 tunes recorded. Because Norm and Richie are friends, Richie is allowing Normans Rare Guitars to play sections of a couple tunes just to demonstrate the quality of his new music. I was never the biggest Bon Jovi fan, but always a HUGE fan of Richie. His two solo albums are incredibly good. Stranger in This Town was the soundtrack to high school for me. Undiscovered Soul was my college soundtrack. The songs all bring back memories. Fantastic writing, arrangements, and performances. That VOICE!!

That ‘Pain’ song sounds amazing...
Damn! Richie is sitting on some killer material!! “Pain” sounds epic too! I hope we get to hear it all soon! Richie is one of my first guitar heros as a kid in the 80’s. And, when I was stationed overseas I broke my foot chasing down a guy while trying to make an arrest and had multiple surgeries on it. During all the down time I learned to play guitar and write songs by playing along with Richie’s records. I can’t wait for this new music!

Richie Sambora is an amazing man. He has a heart of pure gold! Every time I hear stories about his acts of kindness and Philanthropy, it makes me love him even more!! I have never met him, but I would marry that man!

Thank you for sharing this, can't wait for a new album to drop! I'm 28 now, and Richie has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spend most of my youth collecting all the merchandise and rare stuff I could find, search everywhere for more of his music such as movie tracks, collaborations and former bands and managed to afford attending his concert twice. While he doesn't know of my existence, I feel in a way he raised me. He was such a big inspiration and role model. When I was having a tough time, listening to his voice would always comfort me. From years of depression to simple dentist appointments, his music would be there to back me up like a supportive parent I never had. He inspired me to become a musician myself. I love to write and perform songs, mainly to help and comfort people. Bless you Richie, you really have been this one light burning, affecting so many lives.
That's what makes me love Richie all the more. He has such a kind heart & a good soul.

We fans are waiting patiently for his new record. These small snippets help with the waiting. It is the hardest part!!

You simply cannot fake class. Richie has a deep and heartfelt soul that I've always connected with. He is a wide awake being in a sea of people with false intentions. I think he figured out what really mattered when it counted most. Everything that he does from here on out has God's blessings and smiles.
So nice and classy of Richie to devote his time to provide some comfort and support for someone he didn’t even know. I’d imagine for many celebrities time is more valuable than money because of the demands on it.
Sounds great to me. Richie sings very passionately, the guitars are audible, the rhythm of each song is fantastic. I can't wait to hear the rest.

Love these snippets of Richie’s new tunes Norm, awesome. They sound Really good, can’t wait for the new release
The first one sounds like it could have been off Richie's debut. The 2nd one sounds like any song off of any Bon Jovi album since 2005... so slightly less interested in the Coldplay-pop era vibe that gives off.
Hoping there's alot more like Pain on there though! It'll just be good to hear him again.
It will no doubt have a kick ass solo though

Very cool, beautiful example. For me the 3 greatest guitarists who have influenced the most in the world are: Eric Clapton, Richie Sambora and John Mayer. There may even be better guitarists around the world, but the ones who most influenced guitarists in recent years were these three. More of the three, the more was creative with wonderful songs, it was without a doubt Richie Sambora.

Cancer is one the most evil and devious blights on humankind. I feel for what happened to Kyle and his mother. Cancer took my father at a young age and hearing what happened to this family is just heartbreaking.
I always thought Richie was a good guy and this affirms that belief. I hope some day he and Jon can work out their disputes, Life is to short and they did such amazing things together and were child hood friends who made it...together.
Ritchie, get em ready and send them to us. We look forward to hearing your new music.
