    Wow, your land is huge! Thanks for the tour. You both are doing a great job! Focus on one area and then move to the next. If you can get the chicken coop going and get some chickens you will have an endless supply of eggs and meat; plus, the chicken poop is good for the soil. Anyway, awesome job on all the progress so far.

    So much possibility...beautiful land to work with. You need a few goats to help with the land management.

    Thanks for a lovely walk through your land, I thought it was really interesting and informative. You certainly have loads of work ahead of you but you’ve already made a terrific start. Thanks for sharing. Pauline, Australia

    Wow!! Holy crap, a lot of work! I've seen a lot of owners use electric fencing as a couple of pigs to do all work for you. Then sell pigs or for you, get two new pigs for the next season and so on till your land is clear. They actually do all the work of the brambles and you can access your trees!

      I do really want pigs 😅😊

      Best advice ever. I'm struggling to get my garden going here on our little plot. All the pioneer plants with very long, thick roots love to torture my back. The clay stone mix is no fun. I bought a lot of soil and compost to make it better. We will still make it.

      Do goats eat brambles? Or sheep? Then you could have milk or make cheese and sell the wool. So many possibilities. And I think free range chickens could help eat all the bugs. 😊

      @@Crazy_Garden_Lady yh this year has been mad for re growth. I have found that no dig has helped with weeds in the garden but the speed that brambles have re grown recently is shocking!

      @@lfuentes4098 I’ve heard they do but after going to a local farm expo last year I kind of got put off goats and sheep 😂 the goats were mean and sheep were many. Still a fan of donkey, cows and pigs though. Hopefully one day 🤞

    I just refound your channel! Saw you after you first moved in and got lost exploring on your own while Carlos was doing something at house?. Now this tour is awesome! And yes you have alot to do but it will come with time. Hopefully you can get all the counsels cleared to start all your work. My one suggestion is to work on one field at a time, get it up to what you want it to do then move on to the next field while maintaining the first. Of course veggie garden would be first so you can self sustain. Then move onto animals, chicken firstly so you have eggs and chicken meat. Goats for milk, cheese and meat. Etc. I do realize water is very important but you said you have easy flowing to the fields so that would be included with the field you're working on. Set a schedule for the maintenance such as strimming on Mondays, fine weeding in garden on Tuesday, Wednesday plant nutrition etc. This may sound bossy but I want you to succeed in your dreams and your young.

      Welcome back! Carlos had to finish up his work in the Algarve when we first moved in. That might be it??? We have kind of got a rhythm where I’m looking after the veg garden while Carlos is land clearing that seems to work. Though big jobs we try to do together. Little by little we will get there 💪 glad you enjoyed! ❤️

    You do have a nice plot of land, also a lot of work. May I suggest that you first apply and update the tiny house at the entrance so that you can live there in the winter. Next is clearing and updating the coop house. And after that you can renovate the principal house and the rest 😅😅😅

    • @TheSunnySaudadeProject
      @TheSunnySaudadeProject  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It would cost more to renovate that tiny house than the few things we need to get more comfortable here unfortunately. The main issues is the heating and kitchen roof in our house. Once that is done I absolutely agree. Tiny house to get extra income for renovating the rest. Dw other little huts ect are for further down the line 😅

    Just an idea, as u have so much land with other buildings, could u not sell part of it? Thinking less work for u both and the money would help to renovate ur home? 🥰

    Hello looking fabulous. I’m in Portugal not far away from you if you want and available for coffee if you like I’m on my land. 😊 yeah it’s hot 🥵 lol

      The thing is it’s not even that hot yet 😂 it’s the shock between 12 degrees to 27 In a week haha. I read that we are going to have a HOT summer this year … 😅🙃. We should definitely meet up some time. Carlos’s hours are a bit changeable at the moment but it would be good to work out something soon
