These two videos alone have taught me so much about posing. I love photography and have been doing it professionally for about 6 years but never figured out how to pose in a simple way that moved the shoot along faster and more effectively. I love this. Thank you.
It's true what they say. The pros make it look easy. Thanks Pye, for breaking this down for us. Great lesson.
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it useful.
This tutorial is so amazing. Thanks a lot. Wedding season can come.
This is such an excellent and easily understood approach to posing. I truly look forward to more #masteringyourcraft episodes.
Pye, that was VERY helpful for those of us who are just getting comfortable with portrait photography. THANK YOU!!
Excellent. I love this series . Would love to see more of such videos . 👏👏
Thank you for sponsoring Adorama. And Pye, you're the best.
WOW! This really covers it all! I will definitely use this method on my next shoot! Sharing it in a FB group now!!
This was great. Thank you, Pye!
Really great video for posing, I am looking forward to see more and try this in action
Good tips!! and exactly what I often have to...take photos at bright day and backlit at beach. Look forward to next expression video. Thank you a lot!
Great video Pye 🙏🏼 Looking forward to the next one in the series
Great approach to posing, and the terminology makes it easy to remember!
This is the best posing video I have ever seen. It teaches the photographer how to direct the subjects, not what is a good pose. In my business I have been doing these *exact* 5 poses for 15 years. This tutorial has taught me how to more effectively and efficiently direct my clients. I am confident I will be able to do a 60 minute job in only 30 minutes. The next task is to choreograph these poses in to a 20 or 40 pose "dance", with each pose flowing beautifully into the next. It will feel natural to the client and make beautiful work.
Man, this system is the most easy to retain and build from by far. Thank you so much.
The best photo guide I have ever seen!
Thank you, brilliant and easy to understand.
Thank you so much for this. This is probably the simplest, most intuitive way I have heard posing explained, and it really helps when trying to pose inexperienced clients!
This is the best video Pye you've done on this. Excellent video
Learned more from this short video than hours of other videos! Thank you
Awesome. Thanks a lot for this tutorial pye. Really helps me.
I have been shooting for years but watching this gave me so many tips. Now I feel like I’ve missed out on shots by saying the classic “act natural.” THANK YOU so much for this. So helpful!

That was excellent. Not sure I would ever have figured that out on my own. Will be very useful. The couple seemed very cooperative as well, knowing exactly what you wanted.
They were great to work with for sure! Glad you found it useful.
Helpful as always! 🙏🏽
Nice work Pye 😊👌🏾
Love this needed this! I’ve always wondering the importance of a visible hand or arm. I’ve noticed how some people don’t let a hand come out of no where unless you can see the arm and able to track it. I was wondering what’s the guide line on that
Omg! This was amazing!! straight to the point and very helpful, thanks
Thank you for sharing this!!
Thank you for watching!
Loved the styling and especially the VF presets being applied to the photographs.

Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Quality..... !!!!!!!!!
This is a terrific lesson. One question: why do you leave so much space on top of images, especially full length?
Posing couples with without doubt the weakest part of my biz. Great video and looking forward to the next part. (Not sure why there are 18 thumbs down on this).
Agree with you this is my weak part posing. I can't find nothing on bride poses for when you doing a bridal session
Really helpfull!
Thats great Pye
Amazing 🙏
Thank you so much for this video. A couple of friends of mine really like my photography and they asked me to take their pre-wedding pictures. Are usually don't take any photos of people, so I was really nervous. But this tutorial is very helpful. I hope I will do this lovely couple justice.
