A small difference in app opening is negligible. The OS, the features, the camera, the screen, and of course the looks is what makes people decide which phone to buy. Does anybody buy an iPhone because the messenger in iPhone 6S is faster by 1.2 seconds? I doubt that...All the major features in this test is clearly won by the 40% cheaper A5 (2016). A5 screen is much superior with a Super AMOLED 5.2 inch Full HD 424 PPI pixel density (much sharper and superior color) vs. the Apple 6S' 4.7 inch 326 PPI pixel density IPS screen. The A5 also takes the camera section, obviously seen in this comparison, both photos and videos. The build quality of both phones are great, so I guess that would depend on one's taste and is purely subjective. So yeah, the A5 (2016) is an obvious better buy if you ask me.
Not really 6S camera is better. A5 doesn't even shot 1080p@60 it's capped at 1080p@30 while the iPhone 6S can shot 4K@30, 1080p@120,60, and 30 and 720p@240 and stuff. A5 does have OIS while 6S does not but overall th better camera is the 6S's one. A5 takes the screen department easily, battery one as well.

Mabirc You must also remember that Apples pricing is (at least in Europe) very much written in the stone, they don't change their prices, and variations between retailers are within 50€ at best. Samsung has way more aggressive pricing, and that A5 might be in the sub 300€ in couple of months (A5 2015 is currently around 250€).
S7 is the best phone out right now hands down, the a5 (2016) is half the price and has some great specs it also performs really well. Ofc a £600 + iPhone should perform better lol
The funny thing about the multitasking part is that the iPhone actually closes a lot more apps in the background due to its poor managment of the ram. The things that are displayed when you open an app is actually just a screencap of the last time u visited the app. So when he opens twitter he looks just onto an image of the screen not the actual app running. Thats why it seems that the iPhone is faster than the A5 but in reality they are about the same speed.

really feels like a biased review. the a5 is not really designed to be a competitor for iPhone- it's a mid range. Kinda feels like it's overly negative towards the a5 and overly positive towards iPhone 6s
After booting, you see on the Wifi symbol that the Galaxy (Android phones in general) check for updates (apps and system), start services and apps in the background which takes alot of processing speed. It's always a good idea to leave the phones a while after booting them to have a good and realistic result of the speed test.

i actually own the A3 2016 model, the smaller brother to the A5 and above, and it performs extremely well, like I would expect a high end phone to work, and it is actually faster than my old phone which was a galaxy s4
To be honest people buy iPhones just to say I have an iPhone people buy Samsung or other androids because they like them and the speed they work at depends if u have them on the same wifi network one is going to load slower than the other because u are doing it at the same time and u obviously like iPhones better so ur opinions are biased there are lots of things Samsung and android phones do that iPhones can't both are good phones and wonderful designs but the Samsung is better to me like the camera quality is more realistic like what u see with ur eyes naturally

If you want to do a real comparison, all the apps should be exactly the same. (as w/ the whatsapp, uber, etc). But comparing the velocity to open the apple app store against the google play store makes no sense to me, since they are completely different apps.

RAM is used for containing apps which open and run it in background. Temporary files are stored in RAM and permanently files are loaded by the user in the ROM. Again, your ROM get filled as you're downloading apps.
