    A comment about live stage use… As the one who usually runs the PA, I would just add that the DPA 4060 and the Prodipe both face along the instrument in line with the strings. This means that they are more likely to feedback in noisy venues because they are, at least partly, facing forwards. All the other mics can be bent to face the body so are better at not feeding back. And the AKG-C411 is safe as houses.

    I recently clipped an Audio-Technica lavalier *underneath* the strings, centered, behind the bridge, and initial results seemed reasonable. I'll try to get back here with more feedback once we have done more with it.

    Interesting comparison, and very much to the point. Absolutely no nonsense! Thank you for that, and for the beautiful, mesmerizing music. Buying the T-Bone bundle for acoustic guitar (which seems a very ordinary instrument all of a sudden) based on this. Have to mind the budget.

    Great comprision! For my ears, both DPA mics sounded the best (I couldn't decide which one was better because the difference is so small), CC 100 was second best and the Prodipe and SubZero were the last. The C411 sounded surprisingly good, too, I would rate its performance near CC 100, maybe a hair worse.

    Great video! Really useful to answer the unavoidable questions on how to amplify your nickelharpa! I've been using the T-bone, since i can't afford the other models... Thanks for the video!

    Well...? Really appreciate your work. As a Violin player and probably a philistine too, that SubZero punches way above its weight. (The DPA's were a bit disappointing and first in the bin) Thank you muchly. BTW I use a Myers 'the grip' in a live situation and whilst unhappy with the carpenter clamp arrangement, its narrow frequency response and low gain provide a believable sound without the dreaded feedback. Very pleased with the AKG contact thingy too (Surprisingly workable). I might just try the SubZero though at that price. Bless you, thanks again.

    Hi what's the difference with the c100 base model vs c100 RC version?

    • @alskoriy
      @alskoriy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cable only. Base model has wired cable with mini-xlr connector. RC version has tiny connector near the mic, and replaceable cables. There are several types of cables with different connectors for different radio systems. I purchased CC 100 RC EW with 3.5 jack, and now use it with my NUX-B6 transmitter, instead its original microphone. Sounds amazing with sax
