Pure Gold. You’re not the first but probably the best harbor freight tool hack that I’ve seen. Ironically I have both the five drawer box and the cart already purchased. One of the reasons why I like your idea is that you’re still able to utilize the cart after the hack. Thanks for sharing! 👊🏻
Nice set up! Ive have a five drawer for years in blue bought another this weekend on sale. The 10 inch Dewalt saw is good, it works perfectly for me. The Skill comes with a good stand and has good power too. Thanks for sharing!

I'm super happy with it. I really considered buying their new full bank cart. But I already had the one. And I got the second one used for a good price. Plus, I like my tool boxes white, and the full back doesn't come that way.
Did you use the left over bottom tray and put the left over lid on that for the side compartment? I’m thinking about doing this definitely would be the only one in the shop to have it
How are you liking that DeWALT power ratchet? TTC seemed disappointed considering how well DeWALT’s 12V Max version performed but, well, I’m in the 20V Max line and I’m not keen to buy into another battery line… unless you tell me it’s bad. :)

Took about an hour. And I got the second cart dirt cheap. Besides, I really wanted the cart to color match my other box. Oddly enough, that was important to me.
I didn't bother with the lower locks. This is my garage and this cart is never out. So I just abandoned the lower drawer locking mechanism. On the Facebook page, guys have done this and retained the locks.

Well, I had a coupon for one cart so I think it was 199.00. I got the second cart of the Facebook market place for 100. Pretty hard to beat that. These carts are built pretty good for the money.

The stacked cart thing is pretty cool. I think I actually liked it better than the full back I have now.

I've been thinking of doing similar but use a four drawer I have already to fit underneath my five drawer. The four drawer I never use anymore.

No, with the bottom tray I made a mobile table saw caddy. And the top compartment I attached to the side of this cart.

I like it. Quite a bit more umph than the milwaukee. But it's 20 volt vs 12 in that instance.
