@@aaditya1708 colleges don't acknowledge anything done in 8th grade( American ones don't); You can enhance your resume and stuff but otherwise it's pretty pointless. Trust me I know, I've been thru the whole process. Canadian unis ask for five activities, American for 10 all of which have to be from 9th grade onwards. European schools just ask for ur resume. But that's about it. So relax in 8th grade life gets tougher 9th onwards! With the shit load of work u get.

Like in my case I spent my whole summer vacation after class 7 in studying about maths(especially statistics) and started learning guitar and some basic programming and now I am damn sure about my area of expertise . Due to this I have sorted out the aps to take and also I am looking for something amazing that can be done with math and programming which would probably turn into my ecs very soon.

Hey ! What according to you is the best book for Apush , Princetons Review or Barrons ? I'm self studying and have no external help , some say in this case Barrons is better because its more detailed , while Princeton is to the point, short and Precise, better for revision once ur thoroughly done with your course . But I also don't want to study anything more than required, since I'm already short on time . I Have 6 APs + SAT to study for within a span of 10 months 🤡 So please help me out here!

Um yeah like , Are you all really ready and financially able to fund or just going with the flow? It is good that you are taking care of all these things since now but try to do ecs you have really interest in I would say. Yeah, you can manage if you really want to give SATs.You have to study hard obviously but ecs and all , you have to look it upto after class 12.
omg that's a lot. I started even thinking about US colleges in 11th only and still made it to an Ivy League. Take it one step at a time! You can take the SAT in 11th Oct, Dec, or even 12th May! It only takes a few weeks of prep if you do it right even without coaching. ECs I would say do a little bit each week, it should be something you enjoy and not feel like work. Most of us start writing essays in the summer before 12th grade!

It depends, if you are doing good in CBSE don't switch boards. The universities do not get bothered by the boards. You can take AP if you want
