Having a style is gambling against the chance that your style is wack. That there will be people who will think your style is wack and want to hold that against you. There's an inherent vulnerability to it. To have your own style takes emotional strength

Dude this new style of video is fuckin fire, these new videos feel so much more down to earth and real. Like the jokes are joking but not really because there’s reality in the joke but also around it. Pigs in a blanket but the pig is a joke in the blanket of reality
It's like working out or anything else, you have to fall in love with how the day to day feels because you're never going to wake up and feel how you think you're going to in your head
I love how bro just rambles the whole video and doesn’t even get to the point he started talking about, but at the same time it’s still so fun to watch and I do end up feeling like I learned something
I've essentially had the same style since I was in high school, it's just matured over the years. I'm just a basic guy. I wear the basics and nothing more. I don't like accessories, I don't really like layering, and I'm not really into graphics or patterns anymore. After losing a bunch of weight a couple years ago and now replacing all of my clothes that are too big or too old, it's all about getting the right fit, which is harder than one would think. Plus I pretty much only buy second hand at this point, fast fashion is a last resort. XD
Mans goes through all that trouble to make his mic audio sound so crisp and bombards the videos with peaked out sound bites lol. ILY man keep doing you
I’ve been thinking about “my style” all the time. Doing all of these quizzes, analyzing my wardrobe. And just struggling. So now I decided to not care about style at all. Thinking only about what I want to wear today, how I feel now.Even If it’s not “my style”. But doing that I am recognizing “my style”. Because I wear what I feel, and not what I calculate
Okay so basically what you’re saying is that if I feel really good about my recent purchases and fits going into this lovely fall season I’m about to get absolutely cooked by my own subconscious? Well, there’s no stopping it. I continue down the path
You said some truly philosophical shit and I know for sure you've read books like be here now by Ram Dass or the power of now by Eckhart Tolle. If you haven't I'm truly impressed. I've recently embarked on my fashion journey and committing to it. this video explains so well everything I've been through and still experiencing love the vids man keep it up
I've noticed a lot of insta influencers are very trendy, and you could just tell a lot of their clothes are made of polyester. If they took the time to just thrift an older high-quality pair of jeans or other stable item it would instantly give them more "style". (At least mix-matching fast-fashion if need be with timeless pieces). Not the mention the uniqueness of clothing items found with thrifting could elevate someone's style instantly. Basically lots of people are giving me taobao and shein when really DIY and slow, meticulous searching is the key. It's also a thing to just even have a source of inspiration really. What references are you making specifically rather than what are you taking from what's popular on instagram? At least take inspiration from different eras, music/art, and philosophies of life and be genuine. It can start from the media you consume. Maybe looking at physical media (magazines) and go from there. Everyone is different and unique and you have the power to express it.
Good things take time, but just taking time doesnt always good things. Taking time with actionable frequent feedback equals good thing usually. Also love the audio
Never in my 208 years of life have I found a channel as good as Frugal Aesthetic and Im not into fashion and all that shit. I wear green shirts with white T-shirt in summer and jeans with coat in winter, but daymnn. That man.. fosdfaosdfsdf..really catched me
I’m just here to giggle when you think an outfit is fly but actually you look like a socialite woman. I respect the bravery to gaf what people think and rock what you want and try new things. It’s admirable. Also, when someone asks about Myself I say it’s a great fragrance and it is.
I will never understand how I agree with someone so much on style philosophy while disagreeing on nearly every outfit they show is cool onscreen. Wild.
I as a music producer like the post-process references, because I feel, that I am the only one who knows all the plugins on screen an what hearts you cut off properly. Also, I think a lot of things you said about finding your style can be implemented in "finding your sound" or getting better at musicproduction.
