I look at the 8S Kraton EXB everytime I enter the local shop. However Im a realist and dropping $1k + $1k in upgrades plus batteries is NOT something Im willing to do. So, bought the Dark Blue Kraton V2 4S. I personally feel the lighter weight gives them a advantage, and using only 1 battery = more park play with less to carry around.
Yeah the 1/5th scales are definitely more to carry around and deal with. They are super fun. The Kraton 4S is big and just a blast! Keep on having fun!!
Wow. That thing sure did take a beating. How is it holding up? My son and I have both the Outcast and Kraton 4S as well as a Big Rock. The slipper has been our weak link so far. Very reliable rigs though. I also highly recommend the M2C upgrades, especially for the XLWB chassis of the Kraton. Bash on!
It just keeps taking the beating. I’ve had slipper issues in the big rocks and granites but once I did the M2C motor mount they haven’t been and issue since. Glad you are having fun with them!! Keep the RC community growing!!
Hey from down under. Iv just ordered one of these. Also waiting for our stockist of the m2c chasis braces to arrive, I'll get the mount aswell like you recommend. I'm wondering though what batteries you use. Mah and c ect? I was thinking of getting zeee as that's what I run in our granite.
It’s super tough, but needs certain upgrades just like the Outcast 6S. The outcast is on a different fun scale and stunt scale. I want to get some video of the outcast off the ramp once it’s back together. The outcast has had a very tortured life so far.
I just got the kraton and ordered all the m2c parts and broke the chassis the day before they came messing around. Was my fault but all of them are on back order till fuckin April
We are actually finishing up a video where we look at the 4S Kraton and the 6S Outcast. I think they are both awesome and whichever one you have will put a smile on your face
Another gr8 upgrade is all arm hinge pins fit m2c 6s ones and the m2c hinge pin arm holders

That is great!! You will love it. I am running Ovonic 4S 7500mah 80C. I also run power hobby batteries and Spektrum batteries.
That might even be tougher than the 6s EXB outcast but maybe not quite as fun?

Would you recommend this over the big rock v3 3s? Looking for my first RC basher.
They are both super awesome and I don’t think you can go wrong with either. The Kraton is larger, but they are both very durable. We love them both

What dual fan mount is that?
It’s the original fan mount. I just screwed a 2nd fan on it. They hang over the side to where I did a screw with a locknut on the bottom
Any upgrades for the terrible swaybars that do nothing,made of paperclip wire,damn joke
I haven’t looked into any sway bar mods as we haven’t had issues. I wish the end links were metal though.
