I skipped some part of the recording. I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that the responder just kept chatting with her like it was a general conversation. He was either not trained well or didn't understand the seriousness of the situation. The system is a joke!
I heard the whole thing. I wanted to feel in my body how Faiza might have felt. I was deeply infuriated and hurt. She could have been alive had the officer worked promptly
One thing I really like about your podcast is how to make sure to humanise the victim everytime. You make sure to point out few details that makes us realise this is about horrific things that have happened to actual humans, and not just some content for crime fanatics. Like in the beginning how you pointed out about her smile and how it made you feel, really makes your content standout!
This story is so sad. She tried so hard. She would have thought that the police would reach her any minute. So heartbreaking. She looks so beautiful ❤️
Yup.. I agree.. 38 seconds is way too long.. But I know a lot of hard work goes behind creating the intro music and graphics.. so even if your “request” is accepted, it will take them a while to redo the whole thing. For most users it’s easy to skip the into with literally 3 taps and then enjoy the fantastic and captivating content created by Aishwarya and Aryaan.
Just an observation, but Aishwarya says Faiza was in the trunk and running out of air. You can't run out of air in a car trunk, its not air tight. You may find it difficult to breathe because you're panicking or in Faiza's case, because she had asthama. But gosh, that call was infuriating. Had someone else been assigned to her call, maybe she could have been rescused 😢
We all think we know what happened. It's simply because she wasn't white. Her name didn't make them think, "oh it's a Norwegian person, we'll get into so much trouble if we don't act immediately" Scandinavian countries being racist is not new.

The Emergency phone guy is irritating me so much and making my blood boiled with anger so much😡😡😡What the Fuck is wrong with him?The Emergency phone guy also needs to be punished here. He too is guilty of her murder if he hadn't waste so much time on talking with the victim and act on it quickly I think today Faiza would have been alived
I read that emergency operators are trained to keep a casual tone during emergency calls to help calm the person down during the call. It’s really frustrating to listen to but that’s the protocol apparently 😅 it is annoying how he kept saying he “can’t hear the road” though like ofc you can’t hear it… she’s in the trunk dude
Hello Aryan and Aishwarya.. Please cover the recent rape and murder of 2nd year chest medicine pg resident Dr Moumita Debnath of RG KAR medical college, kolkata
This was a racist act. They were not serious about rescuing her. They didn't speed up. She could have been killed any minute. Yet, the operator spent 30 mins only talking with her which was risky. The abductor must have told Shamrez that the girl was talking to someone on the phone. The operator kept on calling her which was extremely dangerous. The abductor could hear the phone ring.
Any real life crime stories I have heard, time seems to be of essence during an active kidnapping situation. The emergency operator or depending on what training was given to him , did immense and irreversible damage by wasting so much time. Pathetic. Women dying in the hands of demented men makes my blood boil. Faiza life did you so wrong, Rest in peace sister 😢.
Why don't you put a disclaimer logo on screen when showing the phone call enactmen. People will think the call conversation recording is real, a bit deceptive.
Is it possible to cut a 112/911/100 or whatever call and call back again? Is there a chance someone else or some other responder will pick it up? Like customer service
I know that emergency call responders are supposed to get as much details as possible. But he should’ve gotten the basic information first from Faiza and then asked all of that other stuff. Name, age, location, any identifiable information first. Unfortunately, this isn’t uncommon either. Slightly off topic rant: There’s a rampant problem in the South Asian community: we can’t handle rejection or even a slight disagreement. Whether it’s a romantic pursuit or just a day to day thing, our people absolutely hate being told “no” for some reason. Such small egos and tons of insecurity I think this was my biggest frustration of being desi.
Young guys are greater narrators but one suggestion you guys need to do the same in hindi that's one way you can reach wider audience and also grow your channel at a faster rate
