As a short person (5’6”), it works for me. I can use it as a leaning post, feet flat on the floor and still see over the console clearly. I’d say the bolstering is ample enough, you won’t be sinking like in a couch. But when it gets rough, you won’t have bruised ass cheeks. Try one out and I think you’ll be impressed

how does anyone enjoy the helm seating on SeaVees. looks incredibly uncomfortable.
