Sure thing brother. I just received word that my Meridian - Margin Of Error is heading my way from amazon. Also I am presently cranking Chalice of Sin. Once I saw your name and Wade Black's I was sold. Now just looking forward to some new Blindstone! Peace out, Metal Head Joe.

Hi,Martin....strange one , this one that I'm writing. At last, I've bought Bob Seger's "It's a mistery" cd, back from 1996. It was the last one from Bob that i didn't had (since it was hard to find, and, back at the times, the (stoopid) reviews didn't welcome it (and i was stupid, too;-)). Listening to it I discovered that it IS a real Good cd, Bob is shining thru and thru. You ask me..."Well, but what's the matter?" - when i stumbled on "Golden Boy", my mind wandered right toward "Sleeping Alone" of your Blindstone's "Manifesto" cd...did ya have inspiration from it?...if not, please, take a listen to it and lemme know:-)))) have a nice rockin' day, brother!!!
Thanks, Bro! I'll check out the Seger track and album. But no, i have never heard it (not to my knowledge anyway), so i can't say it was an inspiration for "Sleeping Alone". The lyrics for that were written by two friends of mine, who wrote lyrics for artists. I stumbled upon those particular lyrics, and wrote the music in about 20 minutes, late one night. Then it went through a couple of different arragements, before we ended up with what's on the record. Originally, it was a bit more of a "power ballad", but we felt that was much too cliché'd, so we slammed the brakes on it, and turned it into the more subdued, mostly acoustic song that it ended up being.
Martin and Da Boyz! Pure Rockin' Fire!
Thanks Joe! 🙂
