Valheim: So I Hear That This Boss Is Making Solo Players Quit [The Queen Experience]

- So another episode is here! In this one i try to defeat the boss of mistlands (one of valheim's endgame biomes) otherwise known as The Queen!
So yeah another episode of my valheim playtrough in which so far i explored the previous biomes and in the last episode in reached mintlands. Mistlands is as you all know one of the 2 end game biomes (as of right now) and as that might suggest one of the hardest ones. Last time i collected all that i think i will need in this episode to defeat the Queen. That was some Eitr and the other stuff you get by exploring Dverger camps and Destroying seekers and seeker dungeons in mistlands. All that in order for me to get my hands on Eitr and craft my self some magical gear so i can defeat The Queen with ease! So what you can learn in this video is basically how to defeat the boss of mistlands The Queen and get one of the best abilities in the game which is the queens power! So if you like valheim and survival games you migh like this playtrough video and the playlist that i put together for you so you can find thees videos easier its jut my little valheim playlist you can find it on the channel. Ofc if you like playtroughs of survival games and fun commentary with it (fun part depends on the person) this is the video for you so please enjoy. But in short how you wanna fight The Queen is with magic and Eitr food so it will be easier for you that way and wont take that long. Oh and don't be like me and forget that you must craft the seal breaker to get in the queens dungeon otherwise you might have to return home and get it back to the dungeon.

I used the 2H Hammer, the polearm, both bombs and was able to smoke her and all the adds running back and forth using the entry hall as limited cover.
Hmm i don't think i ever used any bombs in valheim i guess i just newer considered them or didn't wanna craft them good to hear that they are good.

Thanks for the vid. Do you use the summons at all, or are they not that great? Hilder next could be fun, I've never done her quests. Should be pretty easy for you with the mage gear.
Oh summons are awesome i just didn't use them here in this fight u just plop a buble on them and they strong af depending on ur blood magic
The troll summoned from Trollstav can 1v1 bonemass and win.
The Queen can not smash the blocks infront of the door into the arena. It is the best area to do AOE cheese as a solo
God to have that confirmed and yeah it is a good spot you just need to lure her back there when she runs away.
Wow, what an easy queen fight. What difficulty is combat on? I watched 2 other Valheim TH-camrs get absolutely wrecked by the queen. One warrior one Mage. Granted, the Mage maybe wasn't playing peak at the time. Great episode, I say go and do Hildir's stuff before Ashlands, and level up a little more
Difficulty is normal valheim difficulty i didn't mess with the options at all. Idk what those other guys were doing but for me the queen is easy with the mage gear.

A lot of cheesing around the entrance, you can do it with the demolisher or bow as well pretty easily
Preparation, she spams so many adds, she's a challenge, no doubt
Adds can you explain that one to me just so i can make sure i didn't understand ur comment wrong?

oh she spawns seekers and spawn, you spend all your time fighting to her, the less health she has, the more she spawns
Its more a melee issue
@@SeamusDunmaggotin Yeah that is one of the complaints i got in the past from people who didn't knowing how to fight her with melee gear and that is why some of them quit.

Lets be serious. The queen is not making me (as a solo player) quit my valheim world. Its just the midtlands in general. It is unplayable. And dont say anything about "mods". Im an old man. If its not in game options, or at the very least a devcommand....just dont. Im not wasting my time.
Well i didn't say all solo players to be clear but there is a good chunk of them who quit in mistlands, for one or the other reason. Some of those reasons were The Queen fight or the mistlands it self as you stated.
And don't worry i wont bother you with mods i don't like to tell people how to play their games.

Boss herself isn't difficult. It the fact her attacks (spawn brood/seekers). Between getting her first half of health, she starts digging underground anytime u get close(ofc the entire time seekers and brood are being spawned)
There is no limit to the spawn. Fire dmg or crowd control weaponry is best
Yeah she is annoying for that exact reason to bunch of players as you said crowd control or fire damage are ur best friends here otherwise you are looking at the not so fun time.
Go to ashlands best looking biome if u ask me plus the bonemaw serpent is fucking beautiful great video ❤

This fight on very hard combat, without magic wasn't really fun.
Uff i can only imagine. I fought Fader on hardcore with magic and it was hard i cant imagine queen but without magic on hard!

@@ProfessionalMage While I have done individual runs with very hard combat, permadeath or no-map + no-portal, The Hardcore preset combining them seems a bit too hardcore for me. But maybe I should try it. :-D I do have an aversion towards magic though, so I try not to use it if possible.

I don't think that i am ready for that level of self torture YET but congrts on making it that far in valheim.
And yeah give magic a shoot if you can its some good stuff.
I actually prefer the frost staff for the queen and other large targets, I save the staff of embers for the seekers
Yeah i guess i see why in my case i just like big fire balls hitting things, sot that is my main weapon in mistlands and ashlands.

There is a Mistlands eitr feast. I think it only unlocks once you cook a seeker meat, which I had never done as well until I looked it up. My last attempt at Ashlands, I ran the eitr feast and 2 eitr foods. That gave me a huge eitr bar with some decent health and stam.
You sure it has nothing to do with the gals on thumbnails 🤨🤣
And can you rly cook seeker meat and still use it in eitr food???

I say search for Hildr and fight her bosses, the series is coming close to an end and honestly, what are you going to do when that happens? lol Milk it for whatever content you can imo. But also, nobody really has those bosses in their videos, they get so easily ignored and passed over cuz they're just extras and not a part of the actual progression. They deserve love too. Plus, you'll get their heads on your wall lol But speaking of trophies, the 3 trophy cost to re-summon the queen is absurd. I still haven't gotten one for my wall in all of my hundreds of hours of gameplay on my main save. It's ridiculous for them to expect you to farm 3 and just hand them over. It's less work to start up a new save and find her again on there lol
Yeah i was leaning towards the mini bosses more my self. Those seeker solder heads are hard to get i know that pain. Its a good thing that i don't need them for the first summoning. I did think that i do but i calmed down when i googled it.
@ProfessionalMage oh man the stress of having to get those for the first run would suck lol it took me so many dungeons before I got the slab to find the queen so I had plenty of summoning pieces by then.
Also I've been wanting to poke you for more forest but every time I notice you're on valheim and im always afraid I'll interrupt a recoding so I don't xD but we should get together again soon
@@dragonenchantress6609 Sometimes jut afk farming so most of the times i am not rly playing but we will see we should play a bit more of forest. I also need help in my world to get some wood of the fence.

i killed the last boss a week ago and now im very very bored, what should i do?
Start over if you want too but with mods this time it can be fun! You can find some amazing mods out there like a big ship mod in which you can sail all around the world its like little portable base or something or try a new call if you didn't already.
If nothing of that sounds fun you will just have to wait untill the deep north i guess.
yellow mage how do I mule
Simple you take item that you can't carry or want to get rid of for more inv space and make another world and put it in the chest there. Then go back to ur main world and when you get to ur base where you wanna store all that loot you just go back to that new world with the chest that you created and take that stuff back in ur inv save and leave then log back in ur main world to deposit that stuff.
This is a good way of transporting ores and heavy stuff to save some time bcs you know how it is, some of us just don't have the time to transport it the normal way.
