Lord Beerus is a powerful god of destruction, standing on one of the highest levels in the god hierarchy of Dragon Ball. And yet, he is often not seen as such by the people of Earth, who went from fearing him to casually hanging out with him. In other words, Beerus doesn’t exactly get the respect that a god of destruction like him should. On top of his relationship with the mortals of Earth being a representation of his lack of godly respect, there are several instances of Beerus getting straight-up disrespected by others.
In this video, we look through instances in Dragon Ball Super of Beerus getting disrespected, be it by mortals directly dismissing his status or by accidentally displeasing him. There are quite a few examples, from the Golden Frieza saga to the Universal Survival Saga, and we’ve got them all for you here. Remember when Bulma gave Beerus a piece of her mind, leading to the infamous “My Bulma!” moment? What about when Goku and Vegeta ate all of Beerus’ pizza? Or when Trunks and Goten sprayed him in the face with a water gun?

Actually, the reason why beerus destroyed half of the planet was because, in the manga, the one who coordinated the feast for beerus actually put a deadly poison which was an attempt to kill beerus, beerus actually tasted the poison, but it had no affect on him, so he kept eating and when he finished, he makes a comment on the poison the used against him, he said something on the lines of " you really think you can kill me with that poison?" Everyone started to freak out once beerus said that, the guards all raised their weapons to shoot beerus ( they had crossbows) so beerus then destroyed half of the planet because they tried to kill him.

I liked the Beerus saga a lot first he was an enemy but shortly after his fight with Super Saiyan God Goku he became more likely friends with the earthlings.

I learn a lot about the series from these videos. I'm not one for the anime, but these videos, plus a friend of mine who's hardcore into it, makes me wanna dive in.
I really enjoyed the episode where Lord Beerus prevents Bulma from finishing the time machine. He actually does his job for once and whether Bulma realizes it or not, he does her a favor by destroying her work. If she had finished the time machine despite being told not to, I think Beerus would have to destroy her. That of course would NOT go over well with, well, ANYONE in the Z fighters camp. Beerus ends up having to destroy Goku, Vegeta and planet earth. With no ToP, Universe 7 is erased by Zeno and the series is over. Or did I over-think this?
