The sad part about Gohan is that he WAS gonna be the new lead of the series! After the Cell Saga, Gohan was supposed to take Goku's place as the main protagonist. the part about goku and the universal tournament is wrong. A lot of people misunderstand this. Zeno was about to wipe the universes that were to weak. This included universe 7. Goku then asked Zeno to let each universe fight for its own survival and Zeno agreed to that.

Goku was trying to make gohan angry so gohan could rage and kill him and vegate was a big help in the frieza ark

I still get kinda frustrated when I think about how once Goku teleported Cell to King Kai's planet, he literally could have teleported back to earth. I don't understand why he just stood there and took the blast and died. Especially because he already died before and this time it was for good.
Because all the cells of Namekian and saiyan Cell acquires lets him regenerate, thus grow stronger than ever before.

I'm sick and tired of people saying that Goku giving Cell a senzu bean and him creating the T.O.P we're stupid. If Cell was to face Gohan when exhausted then he would have gotten desperate and Gohan would've failed to defeat him. By cell being at max power it allowed him to remain cocky and be able to push Gohan to the edge. Zeno was already planning on destroying the universes with a low mortal count so Goku actually gave everyone a chance at survival. Before you bring out Goku showing off against Bergamo let me just say this. Imagine the Rulers of All going through the trouble for creating the tournament just to cancel it in the end. I don't really see them being too happy about that. It also happened for the sake of plot.

To be fair in the Top arc, Zen-Oh was going to destroy all the universes just much much much later, at least Goku gave all the other universes a chance to save their own universes (but it was still stupid; by that time it wouldn't be your problem because you'd all be dead)

man everyone keeps saying it was Goku's fault for the tournament of power. while Goku did remind Zeno of the tournament it was actually Zeno who suggested it in the first place. if Goku was to blame for the tournament of power it would be for reminding Zeno of it but he didn't suggest the tournament at all out of sheer delight to fight.
Everyone talks about goku not caring about universes getting obliterated for the tournament of power but that was never part of the deal when he suggested it.
