For the amount of time and effort he put into making the cars look good off camera to correct the issues he described is exactly why we returned it. You don’t see that, so I don’t expect you to understand completely, but it REALLY wasn’t worth the headache or time
@@VictoriaShanks_ so then you take the L on the purchase 🤷🏻♂️ I guess since Amazon doesn’t question anything regarding returns it’s whatever, just not what I would have done.
@@jasonfazio8212what’re you talking about? That’s what you do when a product doesn’t work the way it was advertised. That’s why there are return policies. It didn’t work as good as it was advertised, so they returned it lmao
Evan you have to think.....this is meant to be used outdoors (durable top not wide open) also this is for someone who doesn't have a garage or covered area at all. Your looking at it through your lens strictly compared to a real paint booth. For a guy who needs this for a weekend in their back or front yard it sounds like quite a value. Cheap Walmart lights work fine. A clean room, awesome. And it's not all ripped up and still inflates after all you've used it for. Perfect. Add a vevor extractor with the tunnel and sounds like it would do everything you'd NEED it to do. Hell you could have just set up plastic in your shop and created the same thing.....most of us don't have shops. I mean there are guys that paint cars outside. This isn't for sema builds.
I am building one out of PVC 3/4 inch pipe, clear construction plastic and a shit ton of Velcro. I plan on laying down a big ass tarp to paint on too. I found a big extractor fan on market place and then imma zip tie the led light bars to the pipes. All I Al, should cost me $180-$210. It’s going to be an effort to set it up and break down but it should work really well, I am only really worried the lightning.
You could have also bought a stronger blower. I work with a event rental company and those look like .5 horse power or 1hp fan. But you can get like 2hp blowers and it's a huge difference. I'd suggest trying two of those and see if that helps pressurize the interior better.
yes, very correct, I have tested it all, it is the big difference: the larger blower and also the hole of the outlet can have dimensions, but not too large, then you apply a little more pressure and it goes out much faster
Returning it is crazy lol💀 show me something that large and usefull for 800. Bro showed b roll of the carbon wrap and then said wouldn't paint a Sema car in it, duh😑
Thanks for the review, I anticipated these issues will an inflatable booth. Get yourself a fully enclosed car tent from harbor freight & add your own filter and fans, it’ll be way cheaper & you won’t need to worry about it collapsing if a fan dies.
I have to paint something in 2 pack polyurethane in my home garage/workshops. Overspray is a real issue along with dust and insects. These spray booths cure both these problems. The alternative is to paint it in my drive or garage and have overspray on everything including maybe my neighbours cars. For home use these things are way better than nothing at all!
Evan please make a detailed guide on paint correction🙏 I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say it would be greatly appreciated coming from an experienced detailer like yourself
The issues with his paint where 100% user error, nothing the booth could have changed about it , these booths work great you can absolutely get the same result as a regular booth if you know what you’re doing
So I'm curious, vevor sells some very big exhaust fans that pair with these perfectly and are very affordable. Do you think that would make a difference in the quality?
Also.....I'm not here to beat you up I watch all the videos. I just looked and don't know what brand this is but vevor has a 20x13x8 right now for $549. And a 28x15x10 for the $799 you got this one for and a 33x16x10 for $850 with 3 blowers (not vevor). Add the extractor that fits in their filter pocket for $100 and Bob's your uncle.
According to a video I saw from Eastwood channel guy was selling his US made inflatable booths for $10000-25k he said these Amazon sold booths are made of Oxford Cloth which is flammable not approved by fire safety code. I think if have enough air flow unlikely going to get enough overspray to cause a fire.
You know what this means boys. Sell out every single thing from 53 supply non stop until Evan can get a legit paint booth in his own backyard!!! LET'S GOOOO!!!! 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Hey! Evan, long time since one of your videos popped up in my reccomended even though I'm still sub'd. Question for ya. About 4 years ago you made a post here on your channel about how happy you were that Joe Biden was elected as president. Do you still stand by that sentiment?
I promise this is one of the last, if not the last, video using this camera set up! :)
NOBODY CARES
I was almost excited cause I thought you were gonna say last video EVER
Returning that after successfully painting 2 cars is insane
Nasty work 🤣🤣

Wet sand in between coats? From that short clip of the yellow car it look like a paint technique issue rather than a pressure issue...

Keep up the work man love the content!!!
But did it get back in the box
Love the review always curious about these! 💯 keep up the good work man!

Totally agree. Its there as a controlled environment. Should have sorted extraction before spraying anything.
Is that the one from Iliminate crew
Thank Man great review, opened eyes a bit more
I looked at these from several suppliers. Most have little technical info. Specifically, what voltage is the inflater fan? How noisy is it?
Love the videos man keep it up!

Can you paint those big ass excursions, suburban(past & present) F250’s GMC’s & Ram 🐏 2500, & 3500?

Modern day amazon customer
Crazy that "influencers" have to specify when a video is NOT sponsored, instead of telling us, when it is sponsored.
Send me one

Yes, Biden has been great, finally no more Whitehouse with daily drama and staff leaving.
@bishopdredd5349 no one asked you. You're not important regardless what your single mother told you.
