Although not a luxury car, the Chevy Bolt EUV "Red Line" is considered a step above other models. It has two small painted stripes on the wheels, a stripe down the side, and red thread inside. People are actually willing to pay more moolah for this "prettied up" car just because of a few red lines. God love'm.
Just because the Britz pronounce it that way doesn't make it "proper(ly)". We just take out the "U" syllable much like we shorten many words. Oh well....that's how we speak. The Britskis pronounce Cadillac like 'Ca-dee-lac', and we don't go around correcting them. And Cadillac is a French name, so....who gives a flyinfuck haha! But right, JagWIRE is just plain WRONG no matter where yer from. Jagwar or Jag-you-are is what it is.
Exquisite car manufacturers "Oh they clearly have money to buy a $2 million dollar machine, make sure the spare parts, servicing and I don't know lets call it the 'f*ck you labour' cost more than the car itself"
I'm telling you people, if Deer wanted to make fast cars in addition to tractors like Laborghini, they would be faster, more beautiful and more reliable.
Most luxury cars will depreciate, especially if you drive them, especially often. Cars that won't depreciate so much are the low mileage cars (especially if they are stock) cars from the 80s and 90s. Nowadays, its the NSXs, the Type R, or even the 964 Porsche. Sure, they may not be as fast as a supercar, but you will be making BANK!
(Also, from the motorcycle world: The engine in a Kawasaki Versys is the same as for a Ninja, with a slightly different tune and a different clutch. It's also $1,000 cheaper on average to buy.)
Companies that make buses and RVs are big parts bins fans, too. I've seen headlights and tail lights from random cars like say, a 94 Golf. Kinda fun to look at them and notice what car they're from
one thing i learned is that the only difference between brand and its generic counterpart is only that one has a logo that makes it cost more. Also, be wary of luxury cars from companies that also have race teams. They gotta fund those teams somehow, so they're more likely to rip you off.
The Quattro Concept in the bottom right at 0:10. This was an Audi B8 chassis ('08-'12 A/S/RS5 chassis) with the TT RS 2.5L turbocharged engine. It weight 2,700 pounds with a full interior and had a true longitudinal engine lay out. It featured many modern Audi features still used today like the steering wheels, virtual cockpit, and others. It would have been goated,
The db7 is actually sick, even had a t56 in the manual cars. Very misunderstood, surprised people never tuned the or added turbos the block and crank were special but rods, pistons amongst many other parts were essentially pulled from fords parts catalogue. Meaning that the specifications that were used to say, make the stock or even aftermarket forged pistons, did and do fit the V12 off the shelf. Crazy
There is one particularly egregious case of parts bin sharing, and it's the first generation, pre-facelift, Land Rover Discovery. The headlights were from a Freight Rover Sherpa, the taillights were from an Austin Maestro Van, the chassis, door frames, and even most of the glass was from a first generation Range Rover, as were the axles, transfer case and the manual gearbox. A lot of the switchgear was from an Austin Montego, the door handles were from a Morris Marina, the heater vents from an Austin Metro. Even the V8 petrol was from the Range Rover, albeit earlier versions. The only new things were the bodywork outer skins, the roof and taildoor, some of the trim, and the 200 Tdi engine. In fact, the parts-bin sharing was done on such a cheap level, a lot of components still had the branding from the vehicle they were taken from!
and don´t forget the Ferrari Enzo, which had almost all its buttons on the dachboard from... the Fiat Punto ! and of course, the most used/shared mirrors of all time : The mirrors of the Citroen CX . so many 90´s sports/supercars have used those .

Hi, just wanted to ask if u need experience in order to work with cars. I intend to work on cars in the future tho I've never fixed or touched a car in a mechanic sense.
@@ryugatsuchiya9018 Find a good mechanic shop and work there at least a year on the cheep. They probably won’t pay you much, but you can learn as you take on new tasks.
@@ryugatsuchiya9018 What Jeepdude said is correct. You can also team up with individuals working on projects. Like I am working on resto-modding a rare car right now, and you would learn a TON of stuff that would make you look pretty competent walking up to your first garage for a job.
Although not a luxury car, the Chevy Bolt EUV "Red Line" is considered a step above other models. It has two small painted stripes on the wheels, a stripe down the side, and red thread inside. People are actually willing to pay more moolah for this "prettied up" car just because of a few red lines. God love'm.
Dude, so many mistakes avoided. So happy
Is there any website or something where you are able to check what parts from different cars fit on your car ??
Yes and no. It’s more like people just coming a cross parts!
I appreciate that he makes the effort to pronounce 'Jaguar' properly :)
What... you don't like JAG-WIRE mate?
Nobody bloody cares m8.
@@m4rvinmartian Jagwire wouldnt be so bad, its Jag-WAAAAR that gets me
Jag-you-are vs jag-waur vs jag-wire
Just because the Britz pronounce it that way doesn't make it "proper(ly)". We just take out the "U" syllable much like we shorten many words.
Oh well....that's how we speak. The Britskis pronounce Cadillac like 'Ca-dee-lac', and we don't go around correcting them. And Cadillac is a French name, so....who gives a flyinfuck haha!
But right, JagWIRE is just plain WRONG no matter where yer from. Jagwar or Jag-you-are is what it is.
Day 376 of asking James to do an Up to speed on his Dad
Exquisite car manufacturers "Oh they clearly have money to buy a $2 million dollar machine, make sure the spare parts, servicing and I don't know lets call it the 'f*ck you labour' cost more than the car itself"
I'm telling you people, if Deer wanted to make fast cars in addition to tractors like Laborghini, they would be faster, more beautiful and more reliable.
I love these videos so much!
🤗
Finally got the old James super funny guy back. Thank You this was great 👍
Never went anywhere.
Part 2 please 😂
Most luxury cars will depreciate, especially if you drive them, especially often. Cars that won't depreciate so much are the low mileage cars (especially if they are stock) cars from the 80s and 90s. Nowadays, its the NSXs, the Type R, or even the 964 Porsche. Sure, they may not be as fast as a supercar, but you will be making BANK!
Casual Fox shocks on the chang li
Mannn. James is great. Very informative, entertaining and funny as hack
Thank you so much Donut for the amazing content! 🤗
Dude your EVERY WHERE MY GOD
You literally watch every car video ever
@@evanbopp9852 🤣🤣🤣
I think the Nissan 300zx is one of the most ugliest cars ever from the front, the rear looks good, but the headlights looks good on the Diablo
Agreed
(Also, from the motorcycle world: The engine in a Kawasaki Versys is the same as for a Ninja, with a slightly different tune and a different clutch. It's also $1,000 cheaper on average to buy.)
“Found in the Pagani Huayra”
>Shows a Zonda's interior
Content just keeps getting better and better. Production quality, humor, and content! *Chef's kiss*
I love these kinds of vid where he just sits down and raves like a madman but I actually learn something
“What are ya gonna do with its eyessssss?? 👀” lmaooooo
Shame the editors got a bunch of pictures wrong on the Aston DB7...
Those last Hella taillights You can also find on trams in Poland 😂
15:28 that’s a Magnum! 😂 (come on man!)
I have a First Gen… that’s an 07-08
You know, watching this video, I'm really glad that I didnt see my car brand mentioned in the list.
haha that Maserati window switch control plate is the same exact one in my Dodge charger
0:19 hold up, another Miata?
So practically all these cars are frankenstein
all these companies are gangsters of the ignorance of the buyers, thanks very much
Companies that make buses and RVs are big parts bins fans, too.
Crazy
He said “I am not sure which one is the expensive one” absolutely started screaming 😂😂😂
LETS DISCUSS ABOVE🆙...^^^...
The Lotus Elise was hugely repurposed parts. Made it pretty cheap and convenient to get parts.
The "AnD tHaT KiD, WiTh tHe FoReHeAD, FrOm ToKyO DRiFt, hE dRoVe OnE TOO" got me good... I was dying...
Now this is old school Donut
That Nissan looks like a Bugatti:)))
Not all parts look completely identical. Sometimes they look "reskinned", like the Maserati window switches.
and don´t forget the Ferrari Enzo, which had almost all its buttons on the dachboard from... the Fiat Punto ! and of course, the most used/shared mirrors of all time : The mirrors of the Citroen CX . so many 90´s sports/supercars have used those .
the climate controls are for the Zonda S, one of the first Pagani models, not for the Huayra, it's literally written on top of it
I liked that Hyundai joke :) . I love that car actually, a good sheitbox!
