+More Wong Fu You should hear people talking about anime... It is an endless list of shows, seasons, remakes, ovas, movies and adaptations that just... consume your productivity time ._.
"We can create some drama in your life" HAHA. Taylor speaks so gently but he is so witty. I am beginning to think he is the most hilarious person in the crew XD
Watch the pilot for 'Black Mirror', it's definitely a modern 'Twilight Zone' with an emphasis on tech and social media. As for movies 'In the Mood for Love' by Wang Kar-wai or 'Stranger than Paradise' by Jim Jarmusch.
+Alisa Wu That show is awesome and just here awaiting for the next release of the episode and I've heard it'll probably finalised in the current season.
kiwifruit138 Any suggestion for other shows like that. Star vs. The Evil Forces is cool too. Especially in recent episodes. The stuff in there got a bit dark.
My mum and I were obsessed with Gilmore Girls when I was in high school. We watched it religiously and had "Gilmore Girl Days", spending the whole say watching it, eating pizza, ice-cream and drinking. I miss those days! I was also addicted to The Unit a couple of years back. It is fantastic! Really recommend it! :]
The 100 !!!! OMG such an AMAZING SHOW! Both seasons are on Netflix and Season 3 is supposed to come out early next year so you have enough time to catch up!!
TV Shows: Sitcom - How I Met Your Mother, Bob's Burgers, New Girl Action - The Flash, Arrow Legal drama - How To Get Away With Murder, Suits Crime-drama - Sherlock (BBC) Drama - The Fosters, Scorpion Sci-Fi - Orphan Black Fantasy - Once Upon A Time
Christine! Totally feel you on not watching the HP movies; I read all the books, but I didn't see all the movies until the last Deathly Hallows came out. I hated all of them. btw, even though the prequel Star Wars movies aren't that great, Ewan McGregor's face and everything is worth it. He's so damn beautiful. Taylor GO WATCH PRINCESS AND THE FROG RIGHT NOW Must see TV for me is Farscape!! It's a sci-fi show, it's on Netflix, it's amazing, it has Muppets!!!!! Basically an astronaut finds himself jettisoned through a wormhole into another galaxy right in the middle of a firefight, gets sucked onto a living ship, and basically has to survive with a bunch of space prisoners, evading capture, and trying to get home. The first season has a lot of buildup and some people might think it's dumb, but it's an excellent show to binge watch. Just don't watch the episode titled Jeremiah Crichton. Just do yourself a favor and don't watch that.
Some of my favorite TV shows: Agents of Shield, the Flash, Friday Night Lights, Prison Break, Parenthood, the 100, Parks and Rec... The list goes on, but the one I recommend most is Friday Night Lights! I've watched the whole series twice. 😊
1. Merlin is a must see. I love that show, and it's probably the only show I'd be willing to rewatch. 2. Nikita 3. God's Gift - 14 Days 4. Heroes 5. The 100 6. Once Upon A Time I'm more of a TV show person than a movie person, but the Harry Potter movies are fantastic.
I'm exactly like Christine!! I binge watch the real housewives because that kind of drama never happens around me and it's kinda fascinating to watch :D
I rewatched the whole Friends series a year or two ago and it was interesting to see the progression of pop culture in the time frame of the show ('94 - '04) like their fashion and technology
THE OFFICE!! Not as nostalgic as friends, but definitely many LOL moments I feel the same way about Christine about real housewives, that's why i watch kardashians.
Christine, totes love your taste! I've watched When Harry Met Sally like 20 times. Movie I could never get enough of is Pride & Prejudice, I'm not exaggerating, I've watched it like 60 times! I also enjoy Survivor and it will be my all time favorite. I've watched it from season 1 and am still following it on season 31.
Watching your lunch breaks always makes me hungry so I tried eating before watching you, and... It didn't help, not even a bit. It's torturing me xD but I love you guys, can't stop clicking!
Didn't realize before, but DAMN Christine, you tease your hair like crazy! Answer to question: I'm really into crime TV shows...not CSI but like Elementary, Person Of Interest, Criminal Minds, NCIS. I love those. I'd recommend Elementary and POI though. They're gooooood.
-Into the Badlands!!!!! - badass dude -Awkward - pretty hilarious -Code Geass - badass dude -Smallville/The Flash - more light-hearted superhero shows -Arrow/Daredevil/Gotham - dark, gritty, unexpected, superhero shows -Once upon a time - fairytale characters suck in the real world
You guys should totally watch Dr Who !! It has a fan base almost as big as Star Wars. Or even Sherlock (BBC version) because "Honey you should see me in a crown"( Moriarty )
ONE PUNCH MAN, SASSY GO GO, SHE WAS PRETTY, BROOKLYN NINE NINE, OH MY GHOSTESS, HEART TO HEART, 200 POUNDS OF BEAUTY, DEATH NOTE, Etc... There are too many to name (majority of these of Asian xD) hmmm I haven't seen a bunch of things either... I haven't seen any Star Wars films, the godfather, the lake house, breaking bad, princess and the frog and such...
Must watch television shows: The Flash(2013), Daredevil(Netflix series with 13 episodes.), and The Wire. Animated series are more my speed so here's three. Young Justice(while its an animated series, the storytelling in it was well done. The series was cancelled due too many girls watching the series), Avatar The Last Airbender, and Legend of Korra (The show that succeeded Avatar: The Last Airbender. You don't need to watch one to understand the other. Both series are just well made children's programming that anyone can enjoy.) Looking forward to more Lunch Breaks.
Agents of Shield, Flash, Once Upon a Time, Super Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Person of Interest, Agent Carter. I feel like I have a different taste than everyone else.
I'm not sure if it would make Wes feel any better, but I'm in my mid-to-late 20's, and I haven't really watched "Friends" either. I've seen an episode here and there, but it never really drew me in enough to make me want to watch it week after week. "Scrubs" on the other hand was my vice.
My current must sees are The Harry Potter Movies (they were exceptionally well adapted once you get past the fact that Harry had green eyes instead of blue. -_-) , Game of Thrones, How to Get Away with Murder, and Quantico. The last three are all very thrilling edge of your seat shows. They keep you guessing every week and asking yourself these questions: What will happen? Whodunit? Why did that just happen? How did that just happen? What did I just see? Did they just say that? Wait, whaaaat?
It's okay Christine, I haven't watched any Star Wars either. But you guys should give Supernatural (tv series) a chance. First episode reaction please?? ;)
Watch some classics! i.e. Sabrina, Funny Face, Roman Holiday, anything Audrey Hepburn...she's got gumption (; I'm a HUGE movie buff in all genres, watched and do love all Star Wars, LOTR, Godfather trilogies and most rom-coms but nothing gets me like a good ol' classic. Especially ones with strong leading actresses for their time!
I missed a lot of movies out there...haha, so I can appreciate this video. And I'm happy you guys are having local Hawaii food for lunch! :D I'm from Hawaii!
It just came out recently but "How To Get Away With Murder" is definitely a must-watch. So unique and captivating in the way it tells the story. I love it so much and it just came out season 2, check it out guys !
Great... I paused at 3:18 just to watch When Harry Met Sally cuz of Christine haha. xD I've only seen clips too but never watched the whole thing. So glad I watched it!
TV: Bob's Burgers, Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, Parks and Rec, Office, Pushing Daisies Movies: Room (2015), Advantageous (2015, Asian American film), Snowpiercer (2013), Old Boy (Korean 2003), Silenced (Korean 2011), Why Don't You Play in Hell (Japanese 2013), Ilo Ilo (Singaporean 2013) I have A LOT more, but try some of these if you haven't already. Most of them are Film Festival winners/nominees.
Criminal Minds, my all-time favorite show probably. I say probably because I don't like picking favorites. At all. But I gotta give it to that show, for sure. But in no particular order ((obviously)), The Blacklist, Dark Matter, Numb3rs, Elementary--and I'm going to stop there for you, but all are TV series, all are (probably) Netflix..... enjoy! haha.
kdramas: My Love From Another Star, Mask, Pinocchio, Innocent Man, It's Okay That's Love, School 2013, School 2015, Sassy Go Go, Remember, God's Gift 14 Days, Boys Over Flower, Playful Kiss, Heartstrings, Kill Me Heal Me, Oh My Venus, Heirs, The Girl Who Sees Smell, Rooftop Prince, Secret Hotel...etc. kmovies: Secretly Greatly, The Thieves, Werewolf Boy korean variety show: RUNNING MAN tvshows on Netflix: Supernatural, Once Upon A Time, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals
I was craving for this week's lunch break!! I personally liked Drop Dead Diva, and seeing the type of movies wongfu creates, (like the emotions that occur between two couples) I think you guys would l like it too!! atleast watch the trailor!!! - Love from Tokyo ^^
I think The Wave (original title: Bølgen) recently came out in the US. It's a very good catastrophe movie. Norwegian movies are always really good or horrible, there is no in between. The Wave definitely fits in the really good area.
They keep you guessing every week and asking yourself these questions: What will happen?, Whodunit?, Why did that just happen?, How did that just happen?, What did I just see?, Did they just say that?, Wait, whaaaat?
I'm terrible at watching episodic TV. On my "Watch Sometime Before I Die" List: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, How to Get Away with Murder, House of Cards, Supernatural, Parks and Rec, The Office, that one show with Niecy Nash and the aunt from Roseanne...
For TV, watch Black Mirror and Sherlock. For filmmakers who make shorts about love most of the time, you guys should really watch Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight.
All of my friends know about the Walking Dead and whenever they talk about how good the new seasons are, I'm like, "...welp, I just finished the first episode after two months.." (literally, even I'm ashamed it took me two months just to finish the first episode...)
I watched like A LOT of tv dramas and I haven't watched all the dramas mentioned here... My favorite is still Leverage I guess. It's sad they didn't continue it... I do recommend Once Upon A Time... it's fun how they screw with your head - somehow connecting all of the fairy tales like that...

Must see TV for me is Farscape!!
