I'm happy with the way the deck turned out. I knew it wasn't perfect when I built it but figured it would be fun. Had fun and supported the channel so its a win in my book. Now back to brewing.....
This list is sick. I would like to strongly recommend running some number of Red Blasts in the sideboard - especially with so many FoW and Murktide Regent effects rampant in the format.
I think the Old School name for Red/White Aggro backed up with Lightning Bolts and Swords to Plowshares is Pink Weenie. Pretty neat to see, I would be interested in how it performs with Karakas and some other utility lands (the old school version also managed to squeeze in Mishra's Factories, Strip Mines, and had two Armageddons in the main!). Game three match one had me laughing when you went into "decking" your opponent.
@@g.goolihangrims1733 im the creator of the third deck, i got a twitch streamer to play it and when we saw the medeamagica name i was thinking "cant wait for the video" the deck is a little bit different now tho
I feel like this deck could have legs but it’s probably not there yet, it’s very linear and gets to kill pretty quickly but it basically _has_ to kill quickly or it gets pretty behind compared what other fair decks are doing.
I would run a single UWR triome to more reliably cast Prismatic Ending for x=3 (and then 4 with Lotus Petal). It's fetchable and can be cycled. EDIT: Its fetchable with any fetchland in the deck. Otherwise, I'd suggest a shockland.
@@nathreetimesnineequalstwen7172 I meant dual rather than shockland. xP So you could throw in a Taiga or a Trop. I still think a single Triome is a good (and spicy) call.
Yeah, there's a weird tension between the body count so you have enough early plays and the spell count so you have enough things to trigger DRC. I tried a Mardu league recently (?) with Mentor and YP; it didn't go as well as I'd hoped without the cantrips holding it together.
@@ThrabenUniversity yea i see the problem without cantrips but imO Mother and Giver dont fit the deck because there is no important / game winning creature to protect. So i thought about what could fit instead
out of curiosity, why 4 chain lightnings and 3 bolts? I'm not a legacy expert so maybe it's a stupid question. seems like it's just a worse bolt most of the time? like if you're ever in a situation where copying the effect would be good for you, your opponent will know that too and just choose not to copy it
Feels like two months ago I was always commenting like an ignorant hick 'wow, Uro just wins things all the time huh?' like it was a hacky traditional movie trope. Now it feels like the Uro is being played by Delver. Guess that's what a monkey can do for ya.

Armageddon is like hymn to tourach, insofar that i feel I was put on this earth to cast them.

My original list had 4x blasts in the board and esper sentinels in the main.
@@lucassbanks I think I'm a fan of both of those in the fair matchups
Something about 3 bolts and 4 chain lightning is very painful.
yeah the 2 Geddons not being a Geddon-Ravages of War split was painful as well /s
i think for more sorcery to instant ratio because DRC
this, i was going to comment the same thing.
Cabal Therapy/Meddling Mage reasons maybe, meh though*
for me it was the giver versus the mom. giver is just better, as far as i know

This was a wild league. BUG Delver and two bizarro decks. You really can just run into anything playing Legacy.
That's one of the nice parts of the format!
@@orsettomorbido Completely agree. Legacy is my favorite format.

Also Stomp/Giant would fit the Aggro Plan

Thats actually a good idea
what is the idea behind playing 3 bolts and four chain lightnings?
Uhhhhhhhhhh...........

@@guffe5813 I remembered. It was for card types for DRC!
@@ThrabenUniversity that actually makes perfect sense
I’m kinda surprised this deck doesn’t play Wastelands.
where are the wastelands??
No reason to run a Ragavan Control deck, then neglect to include Wastelands.
what’s the reasoning behind 3 bolt but 4 chain?
Sorcery for DRC
I feel like this deck should have a non rw source other than petal so you can cast ending for 3 with more ease
Yeah, I think one other dual land is totally fair!
I think Monastery Mentor and/or Young Pyromancer would fit nice into this RW Shell - instead of Mother/Giver/L. Aspirant
and add some Burn Spells
