Bushveld Getaway Owl Spot Lodge | Dinokeng Game Reserve

Living in a concrete jungle, working a 9-5 job, sitting in traffic every day... This is extremely tiring, and that is why we always look for weekend getaways close to Gauteng, where we can recharge and reboot our minds. Welcome to another bushveld getaway, 40 minutes from Pretoria, in Dinokeng Game Reserve. This weekend, we booked a romantic chalet for 2 at Owl Spot. We stayed at Eagle Owl, which had its own braai area, own splash pool, and its right next to the fence where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the animals pass by peacefully. We booked through Bookings.com, or you can book through Lekkeslaap.co.za. It's close to Pretoria but right in the middle of the bushveld. I even surprised Joe the Saturday with something special. Dinokeng Game Reserve is a big 5 reserve and offer game drives, guided hikes, or enjoying lunch at one of the lodges. We will definitely recommend Owl Spot for any couple who want to escape the city life.
