Sunset Dhow Cruise | Barra, Mozambique 🇲🇿
You have to put this on your Mozambique bucket list!
Sailing on a traditional Dhow and watching the sunset while you sip your coconut water...
Best experience! We booked our sunset Dhow trip at the Baia Sonambula Guesthouse in Tofo. The taxi pick up point is at the market or circle in Tofo town and will drive you to Barra, where the dhow will launch from Kite beach in Barra. The trip is about 3 hours. Put on your swimsuit, and take your beach towel with. You can take your own cooler box, but you will receive water, fruits, coffee and coconut beer bread on the trip as complimentary snacks.
If you have your own snorkeling gear, take them with (they have snorkeling gear to borrow), as your boat trip will stop at a snorkeling spot. From there, the boat will go to a sandbank close to Pansy Island where you can go for a stroll and see all the pansy shells around you.
This was one of the most beautiful sunsets we had in Mozambique. The crew are extremely friendly and definitely know what they are doing! Thanks guys for an epic adventure!

hey great video! I am visiting zanizibar this summer and I see you have a drone. I was wondering if you needed any documents before entering the country with it? my fear is, if i take mine they take it from me at the airport! (I have a dji mini)
Stunning beaches, nice to have the beach all to yourself
Thank you for the information much appreciated
Hello explorer! We are so glad we can help people make the border crossing much easier!
😻My City
Top 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I can confirm all of this info is 100%. Had the same experience an did the same. On another note, driving up to Xai Xai the police stopped us like 6 times, was only asked for money once but we did not give them. The speed limit average was mostly 80 which felt really slow but stick to it as we also saw lots of speed cameras.
Hello explorer! Thank you for the feedback. We hope that this video helps more explorers enjoy Mozambique even more. (Some days, the roads up North can be hectic. Just know the rules and use Zello if you need help.)
Great video guys, very informative!
Hello explorer! We are so glad you enjoyed the video and it helped.
I will be travelling to Mozambique for my second anniversary in September, this really gave me an inspiration. Thank you guys ❤️I love this channel so much
Hello explorer! Thank you for the kind words we are glad we could help. Enjoy your trip.
I cannot believe that it is the same San Martinho we went to as a kid - totally different
Thank you, that was very informative!
Thank you for this. We’re an Australian couple who love South Africa. We were staying in Marloth Park last October and were considering going to Mozambique for a few days but we were talked out of it by our lovely Airbnb host. If we decided to give it a go next year, what would you advise? We always hire a car from Avis. Regards Sue
Hello explorer. From what i have heard from other people it might be fewer issues to fly into Mozambique and rent a car there depending on where you want to go. I suggest joining the DriveMoz Facebook group. There will be more people on there who have experience with visitors from other countries! If you do decide to go, i hope it will be your best trip to date!
What a lot of drama!! When l was a kid we used to play outside in the trees with the monkeys while my father quickly went into the office to sort out everything and we were on our way 😎
this is my place,i love this place
Hello explorer. This place stole our hearts it's absolutely amazing!
Hi! Did you go in April? Trying to figure out if a trip in april is worth it due to the rainy season?
Hello explorer. We went in September. I'm not sure what the rainy season is like over there.

The diversity of Namibia is truly breathtaking!
Do you have a video for tips for Mozambique?
Hello explorer! That video is in the planning and editing process. Make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss it!
Have you ever wondered why some people stir their coffee clockwise, and some anti-clockwise? To dissolve the contents of course! 😉
Jo is the only person I know who stirs the coffee clockwise
Sub please
What was the price for the game drive?
