Oh, and if anyone reads it and is interested, my mm710, purchased in Poland in june 2020 does not have any rattle or squeeking in the shell. The issues some users pointed out, like wobbly wheel or dpi switch are now negligible (for my taste at least) and the main clicks wobble is there, but much lower even than the one shown in this video. Seems then that Cooler Master responded to the market feedback.

I'm actually excited for this mouse. I currently have the Model O but I find myself going back to the G305 from time to time because I like the shape so much and this might be the best of both worlds.
Exactly what I've been doing too. Now my Model O cable broke after 2 weeks I've been using the G305 again while I RMA it. Thinking of picking this bad boy up too to get the best of both worlds.
Wow, the flick shots in this review are truly impressive. It makes me happy that there is an alternative to the UL2 that actually seems quite good too, I'll probably try this or the S2 if the UL2 is too smol for me. Seems like Coolermaster have come a long way, I wouldn't be surprised if the creakiness/wobble can be improved after some time in production.
I purchased this mouse blind not knowing how it performed because I was scared it was going to sell out whilst I was waiting for your review about it. I'm am happy to hear its a good mouse thankyou.
I ended up settling on the mm710 after trying out several others - Razer Viper Mini, Endgame XM1, g305. The XM1 felt exceptional but the mm710 was a level above. I think the smaller size and weight really makes a difference in gameplay. Plus the shape just feels more comfortable than the Viper Mini even in fingertip grip. I would really like to see a smaller, lightweight XM1 but if that never comes I'll be very happy with the mm710. Cheers Zy
Great mouse reviews as always. Always glad that Cooler Master does listen to the community feedback. One of the few 'gaming' brands that actually listens to the feedbacks. They fix and give what the majority of community need. Good quality MK750 mechanical keyboard, the popular good H500 pc case with MESH, MH752 headphone, now MM710 mouse. They still have upcoming wireless headphone that I'm also looking forward to, MH670. Also, they have 'gaming' monitor lined up to be released soon as well.
You are the best Zy. I'm pretty sure that my next main mice will be one of these two, model o minus or mm710. Looking foward to your review on the model o-. Much love my brother.
this looks perfect. kind of an modern version of the standard pc mice ive used back in win 98 times. light, small, classic shape but with modern technolegy. i use deathadder and my hand cramps up after like 2 hours. that never happened with these old mice
I just got this mouse. the weight is perfect. the buttons and wheel feel great. i like the grittiness of the holes. the build quality and aesthetic are better than i thought they would be. the only downside (for me) is the curvature on the sides, but maybe ill get used to that. overall, id recommend it.
ppl always ask me how do you know so much about mice and I start laughing saying I don’t I just watch Rocket Jumping Ninja videos and I learned a lot so thank you for all the hard work you’re doing to make it so easy for us to choose what best for us 👍🏼
I'm on my second 710 now, considering my original batch scroll wheel was failing after a years heavy use. My second batch however has been superior in every way. I can highly recommend this for those who claw grip.
I'm in love with this shape. I just pulled this mouse out from hiding in the dark for 3 years and now using it daily till I wait for the Zy's Rail to arrive.
It's the best mouse I've used and I have 5 of them now. I have tiny hand's at about 15x7.5cm so everything is to big. I've always came back to the M65 pro because it just feels right for my hand and I like a wider mouse. I did get the harpoon and would have made that my main but the sensor is garbage (though not as bad as the razer mamba). One thing I've learned is that you know pretty quick if you like a mouse or not, I've been using this one for about 30 minutes and I'm in awe, to the point that now I need to be picky about my surface (and again I have two hard rgb pad's and a couple corsair cloth's). I find that with every mouse I have to compare to the descriptions in these video's I understand how deep the rabbit hole goes. And he's right, how it fit's in your hand is the most important thing. I didn't even notice the button wobble until he mentioned it and I can only imagine this being an issue for the highest end fps gamers that need every last thing to be perfect, I doubt I'll ever have a moment when I notice it in gameplay let alone have it make a difference. This mouse might even get me back into twitch gaming.
You give the most thorough, detailed product reviews Rocket Jump Ninja. Can't thank you enough for your content. Bought my last 2 mice because of you: G-Pro wired and G305 wireless...just ordered this MM710 because of your review. Keep it up brother! Much ❤😉👍👍
@@RocketJumpNinja You're the man! I just ordered the Viper Mini as well and will give them both a test run. Thank you! lol it's like you're a mind reader. I don't care for the sides of the G305 wireless, which you had mentioned in a review and that "hump" is the only concern I have for the MM710. I'll let you know how it goes dude. Thanks again! 😀
@@badmanners619 as you used the G pro (which I'm using currently) and bought the MM710 & Viper Mini (my 2 options I think are good for 18.5L 9W fingerish palm (a bit claw) style), which do you prefer?
@@TheFox3300 hey Fox, my hand measurements are 16.5L and 8.5W and I have thicker fingers. I use mostly a relaxed palm grip with most of my pressure on the sides of the mouse for control. I have tried claw grip and it does seem to be very accurate but palm with fingers flat down seems more natural for me. Its difficult because I love each of them for different things. G305 for it being wireless and smooth but a little bit heavier. The MM710 for being so light and has a nice bump that fits my hand great but the material can feel a bit flimsy with creaking sometimes. The Viper Mini is currently my favorite and the one I use. Love the material, weight, shape/contours, a nice paracord-likeness, fantastic UI, and great buttons imo. Let me know which you like best!😊
Amazing review as always looking forward to getting this! Also it was awesome seeing some more gameplay footage at the end of the video, thanks again Zy forever always our "Mouse Prophet!" :D
Bought it on maxgaming and there are still quality issues, but you dont feel it ingame. Mouseclicks wiggle a bit, sensor ratteling, but nothing to flame cooler master, great mouse VERY great shape, good clicks and i bashed my kovaaks highscore to another level, and yes, i got the ultralight 2 aswell, but i prefer the mm710. Edit: Mousefeet are scratchy aswell, and still scratchy when moving up and down after about 1 week, left and right scratching is gone, up and down still there, but you dont feel it actually, just when pulling your headset off and listen to it it makes a weird noise, like you are scratching a fingernail fast and slight over your mousepad, mousepad is a benQ GSR.
THANK YOU SO MUCH LIKE, I WAS GOING TO BUY A DEATHADDER ELITE BECAUSE I LIKED THE NAME BUTH HOLY IVE SEEN YOUR TUTORIALS AND UR WEBPAGE AND NOW THAT IM WAY MORE INFORMED THAT MOUSE WOULD HAVE BEEN WAY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ME... THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS MOUSE FITS PERFECTLY MY STYLE (although it doesnt sounds as cool as deathadder elite chroma) THANKS AGAIN, OH AND ALSO YOUR QUAKE HIGHLIGHTS ARE NASTY BRO KEEP IT UP!!!1 (this comment is not sarcasm i actually type like this when im happy)
I tried it, its REALY light. But the two issues that made it impossible to use for me were: - I kept blocking my rightmousebutton because I had my finger, because the right and left button go down into the side, as seen at 1:33 - the mousefeet were horible, because there not rounded on the edge...
Thanks for the heads up. This is the same reason I don’t want a finalmouse my friend said the same thing and that he felt like he wasted 150$ Personally I’m leaning towards a razer viper

this mouse width is perfect for me after measuring my hands the way you did in the vid, about 1/4 inch too long but I don't think it would affect it too much, I thought the model-o was perfect for me even though it was a bit big, can't wait to try this out.
I have a theory that having a smaller mouse is better for maneuverability but a bigger mouse is better for stability. And since I'm a fingertip grip a smaller mouse is very useful but they're so skinny that the stability goes away. Hopefully this mm710 has the perfect balance for maneuverability but stability.
Stations&Tendos yeah it show a 24 September release. You could probably wait and order this and still get it before some of the people who order from finalmouse. I have their ultralight phantom and love it, but it took. Well over two months for me to get it and I paid for the expedited shipping. Lesson learned
Well I think cod mw4 will be pretty good and ready or not is coming and we will always have quake cs. Rainbow six siege is my favorite game atm and I suspect the next battlefield will be a modern masterpiece.
Hey Zy! About the scratchy feet. I had the same issue with my model o. I read that there could still be a plastic film but I couldn't find any. Then I figured the mousefeet were too thin but I found my solution from a redditor. He said that the finish was inconsistent so just rub on a hard surface and they even out. After rubbing on a polished wooden surface for a bit the mousefeet felt extremely glidy and no longer scratchy.
@@RocketJumpNinja I hope so! And love your videos I hope the RJN reviews never stop. I know that a large part of the gaming community loves and appreciates them as well so cheers!
My mm710 feels like its dragging on every grain in my mouse pad is there a reason for this? It is still definitely useable but I notice the drag and it distracts me from my gameplay
Very nice and thorough review, as always! This won't come out here for like another month here but it's looking really good. Got a model O already but this one looking a little bit lighter and looks slightly smaller which I think could work better for me so I'm seriously considering this one.
I ordered both the MM710 and the Razer Viper Mini to compare and choose which one I'd keep. The Razer has slightly better build quality (feels a little more solid), and the cable (while not as flexible as the MM710) feels like it'll last longer and not fray. The Razer cable is seriously a great cable. I worry about the longevity of the MM710 cable with fraying. That said, the MM710 is noticeably lighter and the mouse feels practically wireless. However, while I have bigger hands (20cm x 11cm), I like smaller mice, and the MM710 has a way better shape for my claw grip. The back is wider and taller, and the mouse fills the hand much more comfortably. The Razer Mini is a great shape, but once you hold the MM710, it just immediately doesn't feel as comfortable (unfortunately). The Razer feels like it's missing some much needed height in the back section. The RGB on the Viper is tastefully done and really nice. I'm not huge on RGB for mice because your hand covers it, so the MM710 being just matte black appeals to me. However, just for others to read, the RGB logo and bottom lip on the Razer is really pretty to look at. You really can't go wrong with either mice, but the MM710 is a really great shape. It feels like a Finalmouse that was just squished in a little bit in length. Hope this helps anyone who wanted to read it!
I’ve been a fan of your channel for a little while now and I recently saw your review of this with Bryan from ‘Tech Yes City’ and was impressed with the review of the Cooler Master MM710 that I decided to buy it. It is BY FAR the BEST mouse I’ve come across, replacing my wireless Corsair Dark Core RGB SE. The MM710 for me for FPS and general gaming was exceptional from the get go for me personally and is very light, easy to manoeuvre and as mentioned the cord is sooooo light and doesnt affect mouse movement that it feel wireless to use on a regular basis. I found no button wiggle on my mouse unlike the review model so maybe RJN May have received a dodgy copy. The mouse does have a slight rattle when you shake it,but only if you do so up in the air. No rattle is heard during gameplay. I think CM deserve credit for this mouse, especially considering it’s VG value pricing. Keep up the great reviews RJN, 😁👍🇦🇺
Tip that works for me: If your mouse feet are scratching against your pad/desk, then put the extra set of feet on top. It's much better for me and I have no problems.
Make a longer mouse version Cooler Master for bigger hands now!! People need it!! More surface area to work might also make build quality better. CHUNKY FTW!!
Hey, what are your thoughts on the mm710? Did u keep it? How does it compare to the g102? Im a g102 owner too and im pretty used to its size and shape (my hands are small) but i have used bigger mouses in the past and had no problem. My g102 have some problems now after one year (there is two mouse feets damaged making the mouse feel very sticky) and the middle (scroll) button is no longer working so its the perfect time for me to buy a new mouse, i may want to try the mm710, i would be glad if you could give me some feedback before i buy it.
Igor Rafael Ok so i ended up returning the mouse because the my build quality was bad and i think the mouse 1 was broken. But yea i ended up returning it and i bought the g wolves hati which im happy with
This or model o-? Plz help.. my hand size I think is about rjns size, but I’m a teen and still growing. Rgb on o looks cool 😎 and mm710 has extra feet and cool cable 😎
A shape that fits my hand *_best_* . I went to some cybercafes to try some mice (nope, no shop in my place provides sample mice to try), then one day I got my palm-grip right hand on a MasterMouse Lite S. Locked dpi choices, but my aim was better than before. Definitely will buy this later (no time for gaming now 😅) Thanks for the review 🤝
There is one issue happen to me right click are not responsive sometimes it's ghosting and not clicking sometimes it holds right click when I release my finger off it contacted support and waiting for response will update later time.
the mm710 is still my favorite mouse it's really like and the shape is just right for me really easy to lift up without losing grip and just super fluid in my hand
ive been using the g 305 with the back of the make the hump centred and be more low profile to fit my claw grip and after this review i put the back on to see if i would like a hump and holy it wasn't nice to hold so this just made me realise that i want to buy the model o- cant wait for your next review hopfully on the model o-. love your vids @Rocket Jump Ninja
Congratulations for officially being taken over by real independent mouse reviewers. A few months ago you were the most well-respected among them but now you clearly showed everyone how much of a sellout you really are. Just defending a company that tells their customer "You're making shit up" is insulting. And the fact you use the word gremlin is a clear message that you are so far up their asses that you couldn't hide it if you wanted to. Shout out to the real heroes out there: Brandon Taylor, randomfrankp, HardwareCanucks, BadSeedTech and BeardedBob!
I know that a lot of people don't like finalmouse but he can use what he wants. It is a ripoff I guess but it still without a doubt provides an advantage of other mice. That's why the best of the best use it. He still makes honest reviews and is still the best imo. I am sure that 99% of people would use a finalmouse if they got it for free and it for their handsize!
@@Hyyote yes i agree that it is overhyped. I personally am not even considering getting it. I'm either going to get the GPW or Model O- when it comes out. Maybe even the MM770. Finalmouse is just a good, light competitive mice brand and no one can deny it. There is a reason that Finalmouse is in EVERY Top 3 or Top 5 mice video...
Marcell Leveleki even though he praised finalmouse doesn’t mean he hates glorious (he loves glorious products and even follows them on Twitter : D) and because you use a glorious mouse doesn’t mean you have to hate finalmouse. Sure they do have scummy business practices and they kinda became more popular from fortnite, but they really originated for cs players who liked the razer imperator shape. So yeah they had 2 different shapes, 1 ergonomic and 1 ambidextrous (both meant for right handed players) and the shapes are pretty good. They sponsored a pretty well known pro named ScreaM who still uses a mouse made by them even this day. He even got a mouse named after him called the “Scream One” and it was pretty good. Had some problems but many mice have problems even the model o. Don’t call those guys real heroes. They aren’t as great as rjn when it comes to reviewing mice. Rjn really is the best when it comes to reviewing mice and really helped me find my main which is the g305. Still willing to try mother mice out there too.
please do a follow up video to this, you may have just been given a good one because it seems some other reviewers are having big problems with it. I pre-ordered using your link, and for me and people like me who want to support you I just want to be sure that it is always a completely transparent review that is representative of what we will receive
Apparently reviewers got the first PR batch which had the issues. Mistake on Cooler Master's behalf... they sent the first samples in place of the final samples. I'm hearing most people haven't even had the issues I had so I requested more for an update video. Will have them in a week or so maybe. Let me know how yours goes if you get it first.
Side buttons are killing me because this is a perfect shape and size for me but I use the side buttons why to often. So what do I do should I buy it or not? Help please
I would still buy this. The side buttons are pretty good for the way I use them, just not if you press directly on them. But I don't think you should click any side buttons directly from the side so it makes sense for them to do it this way.
@@RocketJumpNinja I do hit my side buttons directly but I'll try to get use to clicking them the other way,any way thanks for the help I have been watching you since let's learn CS GO and I love your video's and keep up the good work
I bought this mouse recently, and I can say that the build quality is better. The buttons barely wiggle but do suffer from pre and post-travel, although it isn't too bad and shouldn't have an impact on gameplay. The mouse doesn't rattle or creek. The mouse wheel only moves side-to-side very slightly (1mm) if you force it to. You can still press the side buttons in by squeezing the side, but it's not going to happen with normal use. You can also activate the DPI button by squeezing the top and bottom, but again it's not going to happen in normal use. If your concern is build quality, I can assure you that you shouldn't worry about it. This is, of course, as long as you don't get one from the older batches. If you do get an older one, just send it back in. Pro Tip: If you're used to a mouse that you need to squeeze, you don't need to squeeze the MM710 at all. I would always squeeze my previous mouse (Deathadder Elite) fairly hard. Squeezing the MM710 as hard as I squeezed my previous mouse only led to pinky pain. Over time I've gotten used to the MM710 and I can say that it's doesn't cause me discomfort anymore. Grip Style: 3 fingers (1 on LMB, MMB, and RMB) - Claw with some fingertip. Hand Size: (L * W) 18cm * 10cm. 3 Finger Rule: 5.5cm Middle finger and nuckle: 10.5cm
This helped me with my decision. I have quite large hands but tend to fingertip or claw grip while playing FPS and prefer really light mice for more precision and to reduce fatigue. It looks like the glossy version is called the MM111 now, it has more LEDs inside, and they're available in the US (from Amazon at least) December 18th 2019.
Cold/dry climate = better for glossy finish* right? There are a lot of youtubers copying what you say and you're giving mixed recommendations on the subject. Its frustrating. I myself recently bought a mouse in gloss and wish I had gotten matte. Just put firearm grip tape on though which it needed for the width anyway and I use GRRRIP brand grip enhancing gel (marketed to tennis players) which is athletic chalk in a gel form where the liquid quickly evaporates. Also I just saw a video of a production model carbon fiber fingertip only mouse. Maybe this is the future. Hopefully we'll be able to purchase custom built mice based off of certain shapes and formed by given dimensions. Thank your channel and contributions. Cheers and happy gaming!
Yeah I don't know, I've never had a problem gripping mice, matte or gloss, I just prefer gloss and I'm in a slightly humid climate, so I just mentioned maybe you can go matte in a dry climate. But yeah if you go by the poll I put on Twitter, it's the opposite: twitter.com/RocketJumpNinja/status/1128969809956237319 Up to the individual, I guess, but I might stick with the public opinion poll as that's what most seem happy with and seems to work. Maybe I should leave a note.
After using this mouse for 2 years now I can recommend it. It works really well even with heavy usage like up to 12 hours per day (ye im programmer). The only downside is that after that time, left mouse trigger started to die. It sometimes doesnt register clicks or makes it double click out of nowhere and really hard to drag anything on the screen. Even tho I really really love it.
Gloss VS Matte
Ok so it gets really confusing because there are a lot of contradicting opinions out there, so in this video I just mentioned what I prefer and the opposite (so I like glossy in a slightly humid climate, therefore maybe matte is ok in dry).
However, if you go by the public opinion poll, then it's the opposite, as seen here: twitter.com/RocketJumpNinja/status/1128969809956237319

UPDATE: Mouse feet apparently need to be worn in, so they shouldn't be scratchy after a bit of use.

Thanks for the bonus highlights, watching your aiming is so delightful
Great review! I'm a big fan of the Dominate track.
So much competition this year! The great mice just keep coming.
I just got this mouse. the weight is perfect. the buttons and wheel feel great. i like the grittiness of the holes. the build quality and aesthetic are better than i thought they would be.
the only downside (for me) is the curvature on the sides, but maybe ill get used to that. overall, id recommend it.
ppl always ask me how do you know so much about mice and I start laughing saying I don’t I just watch Rocket Jumping Ninja videos and I learned a lot so thank you for all the hard work you’re doing to make it so easy for us to choose what best for us 👍🏼

this is a perfect mouse for me i just know it
It's the best mouse I've used and I have 5 of them now.
Much ❤😉👍👍
You're welcome! And if you don't like that wide back hump I mentioned, take a look at the Razer Viper Mini.
All good, let me know (in a new comment on the Viper Mini video) what you think!

@@frozenfenix0 No one plays it because live moved to steam :(
There are a lot of reasons why Quake isn't played, but it's still the best game ever made. No bias.
@@RocketJumpNinja I think it's because of the learning curve its pretty big right now and being good at the game can take months or years.

I tried it, its REALY light. But the two issues that made it impossible to use for me were:
- I kept blocking my rightmousebutton because I had my finger, because the right and left button go down into the side, as seen at 1:33
- the mousefeet were horible, because there not rounded on the edge...
Those measurements are exactly for my hand size. Def ordering the second I get paid next

Not the same shape.
I'm looking at Glorious Model O- for a upgrade from G203 but also the mm710. cant decide xD
@@MeowTow it is similar in shape look at 2:56. It's similar to the g305 which is literally a wireless g203

9:33 lmao that Sorlag!
this mouse width is perfect for me after measuring my hands the way you did in the vid, about 1/4 inch too long but I don't think it would affect it too much, I thought the model-o was perfect for me even though it was a bit big, can't wait to try this out.
I have a theory that having a smaller mouse is better for maneuverability but a bigger mouse is better for stability. And since I'm a fingertip grip a smaller mouse is very useful but they're so skinny that the stability goes away. Hopefully this mm710 has the perfect balance for maneuverability but stability.
looking forward to it, let me know your further thoughts about it.

I've heard of this before too... used to do the same with Finalmouse Air58 / Phantom, so yeah probably all it is.
@@RocketJumpNinja I hope so!

This won't come out here for like another month here but it's looking really good. Got a model O already but this one looking a little bit lighter and looks slightly smaller which I think could work better for me so I'm seriously considering this one.
Would be nice if u could review the xtrfy m4 gaming mouse (70g, paracord, amazing mouse feet and ergo shape)

Dahniel but neither the mm710 and the Razer viper has been real eased yet but he got them early.
Nice one mate, I like the clips of you playing with the mouse with the hand cam 👍. Hope you keep this style in all your future reviews 😊👍
Travisty oh believe me it did help a lot! can't find the right words to thank you sir. stay safe fam

Kind of weird that you don't have glorious model O anywhere on your website, when you consider it the perfect mouse :))

Tip that works for me:
If your mouse feet are scratching against your pad/desk, then put the extra set of feet on top. It's much better for me and I have no problems.

I pre-ordered using your link, and for me and people like me who want to support you I just want to be sure that it is always a completely transparent review that is representative of what we will receive

I would still buy this. The side buttons are pretty good for the way I use them, just not if you press directly on them. But I don't think you should click any side buttons directly from the side so it makes sense for them to do it this way.

not for my hands 21 cm /11 cm, I wish cooler master make bigger ver. of this mouse , I like the shape alot .

But yeah if you go by the poll I put on Twitter, it's the opposite: twitter.com/RocketJumpNinja/status/1128969809956237319
Up to the individual, I guess, but I might stick with the public opinion poll as that's what most seem happy with and seems to work. Maybe I should leave a note.
nice higlights in the end
Mine broke after 8 months... but ordered a new one, i love the shape

Nice
After using this mouse for 2 years now I can recommend it. It works really well even with heavy usage like up to 12 hours per day (ye im programmer). The only downside is that after that time, left mouse trigger started to die. It sometimes doesnt register clicks or makes it double click out of nowhere and really hard to drag anything on the screen. Even tho I really really love it.
Would be great if they made one without holes, but still lightweight.
Like even if it ends up at 60-70g, it's totally fine.
their shop now offers mouse grip tape similar to what finalmouse has. But tbf the holes don't really bother me as much as I had thought they would
