Yes, correct. HostGator will tell you what the monthly payments will average out to, but you pay for the domain registration and hosting yearly. So for the first year you pay up front.

hallo there..enjoying your tutorial until I came across the Astra theme....But Astra theme is only able to be used in the Business Wordpress as are all plugins..I already have a website business acount for another project ( have had for 11 years -but just getting to grip with changes on wordpress ..easy to just keep using it the way you use it and not watch any of the developments like block editor) and wanted a simpler website for another creative project that I did not have to Pay so much for ..so this training is really another level and not training for a free or 'personal' wordpress package..I am trying to find a site which will help me with either the free or personal wordpress package ..do you have one?

That's an interesting question. This video proves that Wordpress + the right plugins can make an incredible looking website and that can be used to display who you are what you have to offer the company. That being said, do your skills expand beyond using wordpress? For example custom coding etc.? If not that's totally cool but from my perspective, it would be important to at least relay those facts too(?).

When you are in the customizer, you can look at the bottom of the screen and click on the mobile phone Icon to change the screen to mobile mode. From here, go to the header builder and you can change the "Off canvas" menu which is the mobile menu. You can set it to use the same primary menu as your regular header or you can create a second menu in the Menus tab specifically for the mobile menu and select that one instead. Hope this helps.

Dale hi! How are you? I have this doubt that I can not find anywhere and I don't really know what I'm doing wrong either. I'll quickly explain: I am using wordpress, and i've installed elementor to create the website. When I go to visit my site it always shows me a wordpress template (most of the times for blogs too) and when i want to edit it with elementor it never looks as the elementor template, it always responds to the wordpress template which I dont know how to deactivate! So when i visit the main page, usually shows me the wordpress template + blog entrance, when all i want is to build from a clean elementor canvas a portfolio. What am I missing?

Thank you for a great tutorial! I'm having a weird problem with elementor that I can't seem to track down online. When I want to select that blue "six dots" button at the top of the section, it disappears. As soon as my mouse isn't hovering over the background image, that little blue menu disappears and there is no way I can click on it, it's driving me mad, please help?
This happens quite often just FYI. It is a frustrating issue that happens when Elementor mixes with certain themes and settings. It is usually something you just have to fenagle. Remember you can right click anywhere on the background image and click on "Edit Section" and it is the equivalent of clicking on the six dots. I think elementor Included the right click capability for that reason but dont quote me on that. 😂 Hope this helps. If you cant right click and click edit section, another work around I have done is to duplicate the section and then you can click on the six dots on the lower section, make your edits, then delete the top section which is a duplicate. Hope one of these helps you cause that is exactly how I deal with it.

I'm looking for a great photo gallery tool since I do have hundreds of galleries with at least 150 photos each and with the standard plugin in WP it's so difficult to manage. Is there an easy way to do that with the plugins we used in this video?
Not sure if I missed it but it seems it doesn't show how to give more functionality to buttons other than assigning a URL link to them. What if I need a button to open an executable file or to display a text file in a pop up widget?

hey dale, how do I make the MARGINS around TEXT smaller? when I switch to mobile + tablet viewing mode, there are HUGE margins around my text which make it hard to read on a phone. Any advice would be gratefully received, thank you so much!
