43:23 Transparent Header is now located in a new Astra tab to the right of your gear button, look to the right and there will be an Astra logo, it will open the same settings that our narrator/teacher had.
One more thing that's changed is the way to edit the header and footer. It is now done in Appearance > Customize > Header/Footer builder, instead of in Elementor like in the video. This is by far the most thorough and well crafted (all around) website building tutorial or "Course" for that matter! Followed along everything went perfect, the only thing I couldn't do as the course suggests is the Footer Builder in elementor. It just doesn't exist, I cannot find the item "Header Footer & Blocks" when I press on appearance. Maybe Elementor decided you need pro to have this option. Thanks a lot Tyler, this course a life changer! (Beats all paid courses btw)

I was soooooo glad to see this pop up when I looked for your older one. I was working through your older one but some aspects of wp had changed and because I am so new to this, I was lost - so I stopped. Jan 6, I decided I would watch EVERY wp video I could find until I could figure out what to do. Now I don't have to!! :) I have watched this twice now and will probably do so again before I tackle my site - just so I can get used to this new vocabulary and try to catch as you zip around. Same here. He trimmed all the fat off of the recent one. I did not even realize there was fat to be trimmed. But showing all the other website examples, it turns out, was not necessary. Good Luck! Tyler is the man!

May I ask you a Q? I tried to install Wordpress on a clean account, (with php ver 8.3) - as I install a template set, I dicover that the pages in the set is only one BLOCK, and it is also for any of the templates set, yours, too.... What has happened with ELEMENTOR, this is when I try to edit with Elementor.... I have an older set installed on another domain, it is working ok. But it is installed before the (AI hysteria) Is this something that AI is making? Editing with Elementor. Thanks for an answer!
Hey Kurt, thanks for sticking around for 3 years! Of course, you can ask 😊. It sounds like the issue might be that Elementor wasn’t selected as your page builder when you set up the template. The option is now tucked away in the right corner of the screen, so it’s easy to overlook-here’s a screenshot to help: snipboard.io/F20ZbM.jpg. If that doesn’t fix it, another thing to try is going into Elementor -> Settings -> Features, and setting ‘Flexbox Container’ to ‘disable.’ That usually helps clear up functionality glitches.

Tomorrow is my 4th day with your video. Taking it slow and experimenting along the way when I have the time. I had a similar problem. I think it was because what appeared to be text, was actually an image. So I added a space for text right next to the image, got it just the way I wanted it, then deleted the word image. It was a challenge that I hoped t it'd, hope to have conquered. , Thanks to Tyler for the superb video.
Thanks for the super clear tutorial! Better to install the Really Simple SSL plugin first. This can help you avoid changing URLs for other plugins (Google Analytics etc.) later.

Hi Tyler, im following your tutorial closely but have a problem with the footer. I dont have the "Header Footer & Blocks" submenu unter appearances so i cannot get into the existing footer to edit it. Any idea how I can get into the editing? Thank you for your awesome tutorial so far!!
Hey, unfortunately some updates have changed the way the Footer is built inside the site. To edit it in the current updated version, you need to go to Appearance > Customize > Footer Builder. Then from there you can add / delete elements & text, and will be able to edit everything in the Footer. But unfortunately the process has changed from what it was in this video a year ago, sorry! But play around with the new Footer Builder, you've got this! Good luck! :)
interesting, I started this a couple months ago and distinctly remember using elementor to edit my webpage, but I can't seem to access the same editing features anymore. Do I need to pay for the $49/year plan in elementor? or am is it possible I lost my way and just need to look harder to find it. Found it!! I had to follow the "Edit with elementor" link on the top ribbon on my actual webpage. I was looking within wordpress. Thanks Tyler, this is the best content!
Just a heads up for anyone watching this. I chose to not add the privacy for an extra 14.00 a month not knowing how many spam calls I was going to get if I didn't. I get 10 to 20 international/spam calls not to mention emails. I have since added the privacy but the calls haven't stopped I am probably going to have to change my number. This has been an unnecessary headache and could have been avoided if this guy promoted the privacy protection more (he kind of just skimmed over it not mentioning the volume of spam you would get) as i would have but I imagine he wanted to make the video seem more appealing by not adding more costs. Don't make the same mistake I did, pay for the extra privacy so you don't have to change your number

I was soooooo glad to see this pop up when I looked for your older one. I was working through your older one but some aspects of wp had changed and because I am so new to this, I was lost - so I stopped. Jan 6, I decided I would watch EVERY wp video I could find until I could figure out what to do. Now I don't have to!! :) I have watched this twice now and will probably do so again before I tackle my site - just so I can get used to this new vocabulary and try to catch as you zip around. Same here. He trimmed all the fat off of the recent one. I did not even realize there was fat to be trimmed. But showing all the other website examples, it turns out, was not necessary. Good Luck! Tyler is the man!

May I ask you a Q? I tried to install Wordpress on a clean account, (with php ver 8.3) - as I install a template set, I dicover that the pages in the set is only one BLOCK, and it is also for any of the templates set, yours, too.... What has happened with ELEMENTOR, this is when I try to edit with Elementor.... I have an older set installed on another domain, it is working ok. But it is installed before the (AI hysteria) Is this something that AI is making? Editing with Elementor. Thanks for an answer!
Hey Kurt, thanks for sticking around for 3 years! Of course, you can ask 😊. It sounds like the issue might be that Elementor wasn’t selected as your page builder when you set up the template. The option is now tucked away in the right corner of the screen, so it’s easy to overlook-here’s a screenshot to help: snipboard.io/F20ZbM.jpg.
If that doesn’t fix it, another thing to try is going into Elementor -> Settings -> Features, and setting ‘Flexbox Container’ to ‘disable.’ That usually helps clear up functionality glitches.

Can’t THANK YOU enough Tyler. This is SUCH an informative video. So glad I found it. Though I’m about 70% through, I’m already very happy with all the things you’ve covered. Tomorrow is my 4th day with your video. Taking it slow and experimenting along the way when I have the time. I had a similar problem. I think it was because what appeared to be text, was actually an image. So I added a space for text right next to the image, got it just the way I wanted it, then deleted the word image. It was a challenge that I hoped t it'd, hope to have conquered. , Thanks to Tyler for the superb video.

im following your tutorial closely but have a problem with the footer. I dont have the "Header Footer & Blocks" submenu unter appearances so i cannot get into the existing footer to edit it.

Hey, unfortunately some updates have changed the way the Footer is built inside the site. To edit it in the current updated version, you need to go to Appearance > Customize > Footer Builder.
Then from there you can add / delete elements & text, and will be able to edit everything in the Footer. But unfortunately the process has changed from what it was in this video a year ago, sorry! But play around with the new Footer Builder, you've got this! Good luck! :)
interesting, I started this a couple months ago and distinctly remember using elementor to edit my webpage, but I can't seem to access the same editing features anymore. Do I need to pay for the $49/year plan in elementor? or am is it possible I lost my way and just need to look harder to find it.
Found it!! I had to follow the "Edit with elementor" link on the top ribbon on my actual webpage. I was looking within wordpress. Thanks Tyler, this is the best content!

Just a heads up for anyone watching this. I chose to not add the privacy for an extra 14.00 a month not knowing how many spam calls I was going to get if I didn't. I get 10 to 20 international/spam calls not to mention emails. I have since added the privacy but the calls haven't stopped I am probably going to have to change my number. This has been an unnecessary headache and could have been avoided if this guy promoted the privacy protection more (he kind of just skimmed over it not mentioning the volume of spam you would get) as i would have but I imagine he wanted to make the video seem more appealing by not adding more costs. Don't make the same mistake I did, pay for the extra privacy so you don't have to change your number
