Vantawng Waterfall, Mizoram's highest & most amazing

- Vantawng Waterfall drops as an incredible triple header, 750ft (229m) into the rocky gorge below. Probably the first white man to descend to the bottom of this mighty steep waterfall, filmed in this video, accompanied by 2 of my Mizo good friends.
Mizoram is one of India's 28 States and is located between Bangladesh and Myanmar.
In our childhood, we learnt Vantawng Falls Story. Here we go....
Long time ago a man name Vangtawnga went forest for hunting animals . At night he tired and slept just top of that fall. Next day he woke up and he knew/ discover that he was slept whole night on the top of that fall. And later named Vantawng Falls....

Plus i kinna like the way you Pronounce VANTAWNG itz almost sound like some Chinese Name.. i kinna find it funny but love it though... Next Time Do come and Visit Phawngpui Tlang (Ita a mountain) but itz kinna far from Aizawl. Its in The Southside of Mizoram

Mr. Ken, I liked your video because I love Mizoram. It's the greenest State in India. I am fortunate to travel at some places in Mizoram. If you have some time, please visit Rih Dil (Lake) at Myanmar, Mizoram border (Champhai town). I had shoot some video, which have posted under my Id Amarmayurmahal. 3 of us friends from W Bengal tried for it in 2018 but reached serchip district. Thanks to wrong google map location! Very bad roads. The taxi drivers in Aizawl could not understand our pronunciation of vantawng! Everyone was confused. Anyway, good overall experience of Mizoram. Great place.

I just saw your vlog. I have been to this waterfall, early March this year and up to the viewpoint. Of course, it was off season and the Falls dry. Basil, i have some video clips of beautiful beaches in Goa, but i haven't made any videos of them yet.
No, i haven't been as far as the Champhai side of Mizoram, but i have been down south of Aizawl and up to Kolasib.
I will look forward to your content of Goa. As you would know, Mizoram since a year have done a rejig of their districts and now have 11 from 8. If you have been Thenzawl side, I suppose you have been to Aizawl, of you flew in from Lengpui. South has Lunglei, Lawngtlai and Saiha districts, lesser exploted regions of Mizoram which I intend to cover next time as and when.
